Lawyers for the conservative publication Washington Free Beacon informed the House Intelligence Committee Friday that the organization was the original funder for the anti-Trump opposition research project with Fusion GPS.

The Free Beacon funded the project from the fall of 2015 through the spring of 2016, whereupon it withdrew funding and the project was picked up by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Jeb Bush Endorses Ted Cruz, Calls for Rejection of Trump’s ‘Divisiveness and Vulgarity’
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush endorsed Ted Cruz (R., Texas) for president Wednesday morning, saying that for the “sake of our party and country,” Republicans need to overcome Donald Trump’s “divisiveness and vulgarity” and unite behind the freshman senator.

After dropping out of the race, Mr. Bush met with his former opponents, except for Mr. Trump, but until now declined to back anyone.

I would say your theory coud very possibly be true.

1. Bush complains about Trump’s vulgarity. Isn’t this dossier all about a vulgar Trump?

2. I would say without a doubt in my mind there is enough circumstantial evidence right now just based on the above info, to determine Bush loathed Trump and would absolutely do something deplorable to sink him.

3. I.E.....Bush perpetuates this phony dossier on Trump...but then Hillary gets involved and runs with it, thinking she hit paydirt.

Make sense?

Yes you did mention Kristol! That's why I pinged you here. :-)

Kristol is a POS. Glad we don't see him on Fox News anymore.

From what I have read the Fusion GPS seems to be (media-)thugs for hire and they work for whoever is paying them.

“who’s the money behind the Beacon?”

Singer — a Rubio supporter. Then there’s Bill Kristol who, I believe, helped to start the Free Beacon, and whose daughter is an Editor there. I can’t recall who Kristol supported in the primaries, but expect it was Jeb.

You have to understand the Swamp.

Republicans dig for dirt on other Republicans so they can be hired by campaigns.

This is all about the primaries and the different Republican camps lining up against each other.

It happens every election season.

Nothing new.

Here is the Free Republic Key Word search on “Free Beacon”!

Maybe Free Beacon should become a banned site on Free Republic!

“WFB is neocon garbage. It’s really just an internet rebranding of the Weekly Standard.

The neocons here will out themselves by trying to defend or make excuses for the Washington Free Beacon/Weekly Standard.”

Bingo, my FRiend!

What you predicted has happened on this thread!

Too bad political inbreeding doesn’t result in genetic disorders. If it did, Bill Kristol would be crosseyed and drooling.

Does the inbreeding may cause smirking and back stabbing of our president?
