I guess the GOP has completely given up on the idea that small businesses generate jobs and are the engine of economic growth, and that everyone who earns $1 million in any given year is a hedge fund billionaire or corporate fat cat who earns $1 million every year and really doesn’t need it.

No, the plan calls for a cap at 25% on passthrough corp income, so small business won’t be affected. That’s why Trump says people don’t care much about it.

The engine of any economy is comprised of three things: mining, manufacturing and agriculture, and to a lessor degree construction. Everything else feeds off of those core wealth creating enterprises.

How many of them are small business owners?

I guess the GOP has completely given up on the idea that small businesses generate jobs and are the engine of economic growth, and [now believe] that everyone who earns $1 million in any given year is a hedge fund billionaire or corporate fat cat

Or, they've completely given up on trying to counter decades of Democrat lies with facts, and now think maybe it's time to throw in the towel and give the dumbed-down, willfully-ignorant American sheeple what they want ("social justice").

Every time some politician tries to sell that "file your tax return on a postcard" B.S. people need to realize short of a constitutional amendment, it's never, ever going to happen because the tax code isn't about revenue, it's all about politics.
