UK Authorities Not Prosecuting Islamic State Returnees to Avoid Creating a ‘Lost Generation’
Breitbart ^ | 10/21/17 | Jack Montgomery

Posted on 10/21/2017 12:26:50 PM PDT by Enlightened1

A senior government adviser has told the BBC that the authorities are not prosecuting many Islamic State volunteers, believing they should be reintegrated rather than punished.

Max Hill QC, who acts as the government’s Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation, told Radio 4 that “we do have a significant number [of Islamic State volunteers] already back in this country who have previously gone to Iraq and Syria” — currently estimated at something over 400.

“That means that the authorities have looked at them, and looked at them hard, and decided that they do not justify prosecution, and really we should be looking towards reintegration and moving away from any notion that we’re going to lose a generation thanks to this travel.”

“But that’s fascinating,” responded the BBC presenter.

“Because there is a school of thought, isn’t there, that looks and these people and thinks, ‘Well hang on a second they’ve gone to a place where mass murders were being committed, they’ve gone there voluntarily, they’ve gone there presumably because they have some enthusiasm for what was happening there’ — it is odd to treat them as if they’ve committed no offence,” he said.

“And it’s not a decision that MI5 and others will have taken lightly,” responded Hill.

“But they have left space, and I think they’re right to do so, for those who … traveled out of a sense of naivety, possibly with some brainwashing along the way, possibly in their mid-teens … We have to leave space for those individuals to diverted away from the criminal courts,” he insisted.

In the meantime they are prosecuting their own soldiers for supposed war crimes. Makes sense to them.

0.5m x 0.5m x 2m about 2m beneath the surface?

This is the real threat of unfettered immigration when you have a large Muslim population in Britain or a large Mexican population in the United States it starts to change things take a look at the London mayor or California.

British citizens can travel to the US without a Visa, just a passport, under the Visa Waiver Program.

Once Great Britain starts allowing ISIS volunteers to return, without imprisonment, the US needs to take Great Britain off the list.

Two points.

One, this is the Conservative Party government doing this. Not Labour, not socialists, not the left, not Islamists or Muslims.

Secondly, an indigenous English man was recently imprisoned for five years for fighting for the rebels in Ukraine.

This is globalism in action, folks. Remember, the establishment in the UK and US on some level are allies of ISIS against Syria. They hoped ISIS could contribute to bringing the Syrian government down. That’s why they were initially allowed transit and why punishment is so light.

"Good Lord! Are they really that stupid?"

I just finished reading Tommy Robinson's Enemy of the State and it seems that the Brit's are in the same situation we are (a vile and thoroughly corrupt political class), just a bit further down the road. We elect the SOB's...I guess that's where the stupid comes in.

To Britain: you prosecute them for the sake of justice and for the secondary reason of setting an example.

Terrorists cannot be “reintegrated”. They joined ISIS because they never were integrated and never will be. Lock them all up forever, or just deport them to Syria and let Assad do his job.

The Good Lord said that if you do not speak out against evil you are actually saying that evil is good. These numbnuts who joined ISIS are now able to raise their families to take over Britain. The stupid politicians are accomplices to ISIS. I truly pity their military. Their suicide rate must be soaring and their morale must be at the bottom of the swamp.
