The Congress is irredeemable. The bureaucracy is mostly unreformable and IS the government. COnstitutional means are no longer even possible. Public Education in the 65 years has produced a population unable largely to reason politically.

There will be one winner in the battle for our nation. I don’t see the progressive left going along with our side peacefully. We are barely able to govern after winning the last election as it is. We are projecting weakness to our enemies who are challenging us left and right. I think we will ultimately have to use force to restore America.
I was hoping but not expecting Trump to be a Pinochet. I think he could do it if it is in him. He seems more a stickler for the letter of the Law and the Constitution. In the 90s that would have pulled us out of the hole. Now not. The left is arming, ineffectively so far but there are supplies and suppliers that will provide arms and ammo at the appropriate time. The left has never worried about high casualties among its troops. The survivors will gain experience and skill.
