Trump says Comey 'totally protected' Clinton, swipes at DOJ as new documents confirm claims

President Trump declared on Twitter Wednesday that James Comey "totally protected Hillary Clinton," after the FBI confirmed the former bureau boss drafted a statement on the private email case two months before it was over.

In a series of tweets, Trump also swiped at the Justice Department, seeming to suggest they review what he called an apparent "fix."

“Wow, FBI confirms report that James Comey drafted letter exonerating Crooked Hillary Clinton long before investigation was complete,” Trump tweeted. “Many people not interviewed, including Hillary Clinton herself. Comey stated under oath that he didn’t do this –obviously a fix? Where is Justice Dept?”

The AG would turn it over to Rosenstein because of the AG’s stupid recusal. Hillary’s emails were ‘hacked by Russians’ so AG Sessions can play stupid all day long.

If Trump fires Sessions, he has no one to put in there that will work in his direction. Sessions is not in the Mueller camp, he’s just not in the Trump camp either.

Congress will not give the President an AG that he deserves.

If Rosenstein gets the order to go investigate Comey’s fix of Hillary, he will turn it over to Mueller and Wray. Mueller is caught up in Hillary’s Uranium One corruption and he should be dismissed. But that just means Rosenstein will appoint someone else to harass the President.

The problem boils down to McConnell because he is the one that can whip through an AG that will serve the President.

What you are expressing is a frustration that Trump should ‘just fire them all’, ‘order it be done’. Yes, he can fire them all, he can order it be done, but it doesn’t mean anything if no one listens or the next batch of replacements is as bad as the last batch that was fired.

Our President is hampered greatly. Bannon on the outside working to upend the GOP establishment can have a great impact. Until progress in that direction is made, we are in a holding pattern. The President has Fox to get his message out and also his Twitter account, and the liar media and the corrupt establishment want to stop his Twitter because it allows him to do an end run around all of them.

For those thinking that Sessions is quietly building a major case against the Dems and will surprise us all with a slew of indictments, it’s all just wishful thinking. How many times now has President Trump publicly criticized Sessions? If he was doing his job Trump would have his back. The President is clearly frustrated by Sessions’ do nothing approach to clear violations by the Clintons and other Dems, the gross conflicts of interest to which Sessions is turning a blind eye, and the entire mess that Sessions created by recusing himself.

I also believe Comey is a corrupt FIXER for Hillary and has been from way back IMO, Granpa Dave. And his brother worked, or works, for the Clinton Foundation. I’m confident Comey will face charges eventually...but he’ll take half of the gov’t down with him. I want to see Hillary and her entourage sneak aboard a private jet and land in a country which doesn’t extradite, which will be the closest we get to confirming her misdeeds. Hope she takes the Obamas with her. I remember she sent $18 million or billion to a bank in Qatar(sp?) during her run for the Presidency and I figure that was her insurance in case she had to make a run for it. Pack sunscreen Hillary, or get some custom made burkas!

“Where is Justice Dept?”

I’m getting a bit tired of the Chief Executive asking us what his subordinates are doing when they fail to do their job. It’s not MY job to know why HIS branch of the government is failing to do their jobs.

All of these recent complaints from DJT seem to be about Obama’s DOJ, not the current DOJ. I think it may be harder to prove Hillary took bribes for the uranium deal than some commenters realize. Of course the Clintons are guilty, but for example Hillary made sure that she was not on the committee that approved the deal. If Mueller wanted to, he could put pressure on key people involved to get testimony that Hillary had an “understanding” with them. But we know that is not going to happen.

I believe you unfairly malign Bannon.

He is a most excellent resource and he and Trump are together on what Bannon is saying and doing.

Your hopes sound like a good plan.

Let the Clintons and Obamas pick their own island of Elba for the rest of their miserable lives.

There’s nothing on anywhere except Fox News! I’ve checked all the web pages of the various driveby media, and this is what I got:

MSN.com: Top news story: ‘Rep.: Trump told slain soldier’s widow that he “knew what he was getting into”.’ NOTHING on Clinton/Uranium/Russia.

Yahoo.com: Same as MSN. NOTHING on Clinton/Uranium/Russia.

CNN.com: Trump politicizes what others see as sacred. NOTHING on Clinton/Uranium/Russia.

Foxnews.com: Actually has a story on this: “Trump blasts Comey, Obama DOJ in wake of explosive report.” (Your story).

ABCNews.go.com: Same as MSN. NOTHING on Clinton/Uranium/Russia.

CBSnews.com: Same as MSN. NOTHING on Clinton/Uranium/Russia.

NBCNews.com: Same as MSN. NOTHING on Clinton/Uranium/Russia.

NYTimes.com: NOTHING on Clinton/Uranium/Russia.

WashingtonPost.com: NOTHING on Clinton/Uranium/Russia.

LATimes.com: NOTHING on Clinton/Uranium/Russia.

The News Media: All sweeping it up under the rug!

By “Same as MSN” I mean they’re all leading with the “Trump slams war widow” story.

I ***hope***, I’d almost go so far as to say I PRAY I’m wrong about Bannon. Trump could use all the help in draining the swamp he can get. But the bottom line is that I simply do not trust people who claim to be in the conservative camp but who advance the gay agenda. That to me is a big red flag.

But Trump attended a gay wedding, you might say. Indeed he did. But he made zero promises to advance the gay agenda when he was campaigning, and all he’s done since he’s been in office is ban transgenders from the military.

Bannon traveled to England to personally recruit Milo Yiannopoulos. Once he had him at Breitbart, Bannon, “Made [Milo] a star.”

Yiannopoulos is still trading off that stardom to intertwine gayness and conservatism. That is doing us no favors.

Yep. Those 2 press conference James Comedy had, the one in July to announce Hillary was above the law, and the one right before the election weren’t done to hurt Hillary as Hillary claims, but to HELP her!!! Right before the election the news came out about all those emails on Weiners computer, so Comedy held the press conference and lied to the American people again solely to help the b*tch win the election and then she had the effin gall to write that book and blamed James Comedy for losing. Typical Hillary, stabs people who try to help her in the back.

“There’s NO WAY the GOP Senate blocks another nominee. It’s politically suicidal for them.”

If blocking a nominee helps the Deep State and Establishment maintain their choke-hold on the U.S. government, they may very well decide to risk political suicide in order to maintain that status quo. It may be a choice between which type of suicide is more certain in their eyes.

If gays, Muslims, feminists, Hindus, Bernieistas, etc. can find something in the platform Trump is pushing, more power to them. I do not see the platform as changing due to their involvement, but I do see an election that was won, by 107,500 votes, nation-wide, by those Trump supporters.

Agree with you 100 percent. Anyone, regardless of sex, creed, nationality, gender, etc., who supports Trump and his agenda is a plus. The more the merrier.

The issue with Bannon goes deeper. He went to quite some lengths to personally recruit Milo Yiannopoulos, and once he had MY at Breitbart, Bannon went overboard publicizing his new hire. The promotion was nonstop.

When Yiannopoulos took off and began to generate publicity, he virtually became the face of Breitbart. He went on tours and spoke all over the country, all as a flamboyantly gay representative of an ostensibly conservative site/organization.

I visit conservative sites other than FR. I can tell you firsthand that Milo was a superstar. He said what they wanted to hear: that being massively gay and being a conservative is entirely consistent/compatible.

This really doesn’t strengthen our message. Rather, it waters it down and undermines it. The family is the cornerstone of a healthy society. When gay marriage/gay adoption is put forward as on par with traditional/Judeo-Christian marriage/family, the society is crumbling.
