Well, I think he was sworn in by the same chief justice who said that the individual mandate to buy health insurance under Obamacare was constitutional because the penalty for NOT buying insurance is a tax and the congress has power to lay taxes. He seems like a mostly non-American force to me.

Making a case using logic and reason on an open forum where public debate and discussion is encouraged, does not constitute “pushing things on people.” I wonder if a person who holds such views thinks Free Republic exists simply as a soap box for his opinions only.

I’m just pointing out the facts. If a person doesn’t like them, that is not my problem, but that person’s. So, sure I can “deal with that.” Can the person who asked this deal with it himself?

If it is “enough,” then the person who said so should feel free stop posting any time. Otherwise, that person should not get offended if he ends up being labeled a “hypocrite.”
I was polite enough not to call the person a liar when that person clearly lied about my position. I gave that person a way to gracefully exit and admit that he misstated my position. Or he could have just walked away from the conversation and made no further comment.
Instead he just keeps doubling down.
Maybe this person should quit while he is ahead and stop posting when he has decided that he’s had enough.
That person posted that the Muslim’s “allah” is Satan. He started this discussion. And now that he can’t have his way, he throws a temper tantrum.
It seems my question about whether Jesus died for Arabic speaking people triggered this person. Or maybe it was calling him on the lie where he claimed I used the Koran as a proof text.
I have not wronged this person in any way at all. If so, he should feel free to show me. Otherwise such a person should not publicly proclaim a devotion to Jesus while simultaneously refusing to acknowledge that He died for the sins of the world, including Arabic speaking people. That’s what the debate over the “Allah” title is ultimately about. And this person needs to make some changes so that his words and actions line up with his Christian profession. Because right now, they do not.

You are repeating a complete and total fabrication even after your claim has already been proven false. My citation of the Koran was a purely historical reference, not theological. You called it using the Koran as a “proof text.” This means you are a very poorly educated man who does not know the meaning of “proof text” but chooses to use it in a sentence without bothering to look it up, or you are a liar, or both. Since you won’t bother to look it up, I’ll post the definition here:

No one on this forum, that I’ve seen, has ever quoted the Koran as the basis of a theological position. It demonstrates false theology and a historical record of the beliefs of Muslims.

It’s not shocking when atheists, homosexuals, abortionists, and Muslims attack someone for proclaiming the word of God. But it is shocking when people who wrap themselves in the mantle of Christianity do so.
I have shared the word of God. I have proclaimed the love of Christ who died for the sins of the world. And your response is to shut up and “go away.”

Of course, Islam was spread over a millennium ago through conquest, and laws which gave advantages to Muslims. But with Christians arguing about theology and Hindus consigning people to lower castes for life, there were many who were drawn to Islam.
And today, in Africa and elsewhere, Islam provides clearer and simpler rules and less uncertainty than Christianity. Plus, leaving Islam has real negative consequences in some parts of the world.
