CNN Contributor: NFL Kneeling Is Also About ‘Gender Pay Gap’
Daily Caller ^ | 10/14/17 | Justin Caruso

CNN contributor Donte Stallworth said Saturday that the NFL kneeling protests aren’t just about police brutality and racism, but also about the “gender pay gap.”

Stallworth, a former NFL wide receiver, said, “The number one stated goal was to bring awareness to a lot of these issues and again, its a broad spectrum of issues. Again, it’s not just police brutality and community policing.”

“It’s also, again from what I’m hearing from players directly involved in these talks–they’re telling me it’s also about the gender pay gap, it’s also about housing discrimination, they have so many things that they are interested in and advocating for and they want the NFL to take ownership in and help be able to use the NFL’s platform.”

“Not just the players platform but the NFL’s platform and that from what I am hearing is a big conversation.”

LOL! Stallworth shows his ignorance. Plus the UberRich members of the NFL could give 90% of their salary to the "poor" and provide them food and homes they still would be wanting.

Give them a sausage mcmuffin and they'll be happy

Ok, it’s now jumped the shark.

It was always absurd. Not it’s just funny.

Next they will say it’s to protest spousal abuse. They KNOW about that stuff.

If these clowns ever went to college they would understand how stupid this is.

Donte Stallworth has killed more people than 99% of our nation’s police have.

Yes, they sure hate this country. Unfortunately it is not just the NFL.

I caught part of news that at Ames High School in Ames, Iowa, a number of band members actually walked off. And some administrator praised their action.

There should also be an equal representation of woman players.

Has anyone noticed it is all men on the field?

"LFL players aren't paid (in fact, they pay an annual $45 registration fee to play), nor are they provided any medical coverage by the league—two issues that have led to ongoing lawsuits."

Yeah okay and that’s why it was never mentioned until now.

They are just trying to get female support now, and are complete liars.

Oh FFS. They keep changing the narrative hoping to land on something that someone will care about.

"It's about police brutality... Er, it's about racial discrimination... That is, it's about the gender gap... I mean, it's about littering..."

FACT: It is about (gradually) accustoming the American people to seeing their flag and their national anthem insulted / disrespected everywhere they look, whenever they switch on the t.v. It's about getting average Americans to reflexively flinch / act embarrassed / avert their eyes in shame whenever the flag is displayed or the anthem is played. It's about conditioning Americans to be ashamed. It's about teaching Americans that the raising of their flag and the playing of their anthem is the appropriate time and place for launching into a litany of complaints that - objectively - can never be completely addressed to the satisfaction of the complainers. Because they will never get enough kowtowing. It is about training Americans to be submissive.

Regards,

The cheerleaders get paid practically nothing. Why don’t the players just give them a few thousand?
