“The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Board of Governors met today to discuss the allegations against Harvey Weinstein, and has voted well in excess of the required two-thirds majority to immediately expel him from the Academy. We do so not simply to separate ourselves from someone who does not merit the respect of his colleagues but also to send a message that the era of willful ignorance and shameful complicity in sexually predatory behavior and workplace harassment in our industry is over. What’s at issue here is a deeply troubling problem that has no place in our society. The Board continues to work to establish ethical standards of conduct that all Academy members will be expected to exemplify.”

Well there you go! He might as well simply slit his wrists. Is there any more damaging thing than being thrown out of the Motion Picture Academy? Then again is there anything more pathetic than people who actually believe membership in this organization means more than snot?

Deeply troubling to movie industry means jail or revenge or severe justice in other parts outside of hollywood. Mostly, a bunch of self worshipping back stabbin severe bad parenting result attention deprived drug modified phonies...please ignore almost everything they do or say..
Who did Harvey Weinstein piss off? Did he piss off the wrong people once too often, go after the daughter of someone prominent in the industry or liberal politics or media? How the heck did this story just explode one day in the media?? Who pushed the story; who wanted it out there? And why?
This had gone on for decades with Harvey, yet two weeks ago, none of this was news. Now in a matter of days he’s disowned by Hollywood. There’s got to be an untold story here.
Hillary disavowed him after 5 days even with her background destroying anyone who spoke about her husband’s rapes or affairs.
OH my gosh, I bet that hurt.

So much for their pretending they never knew about his sordid ways. Why else would they expel him so quickly? They’ve known all along, but turned their ugly heads the other way until it became too much of a problem for them to ignore any longer. I hope this destroys all of Hollywood.
