Imagine if behind every little thug, there were larger, stronger thugs ready to defend those little thugs against criticism or correction. In this situation, thuggery would always grow, and all defense against it would be futile, until at last most people would just give up and either join the thugs or hide quietly in their corners all their lives.
This self-perpetuating thuggish world is the social mechanism of public school in a nutshell -- a world in which beating up a classmate with special learning needs has become a less egregious offense than condemning that beating with language that might hurt the perpetrators' feelings.
Public education is systematized thuggery raised to the level of an extinction event. And what is slowly going extinct under the government schooling regime is civil society -- standards of mutual respect and decency, individual responsibility, rational discourse, higher literacy, the spiritual life, and moderation.
In an age which spews out endless microcosmic instantiations of this destruction on a daily basis, you could hardly find one more all-encompassing, or more indicative of this particular moment in our global decline, than the following from Right Scoop.
A volunteer coach was banned from the school where he helped kids by some IDIOT of a super-intendant who CAVED like a coward before irrational calls from the mob that the coach was a racist.What did he do?

I am bigoted against thugs of any race.
The original thugs, or thugees, were a criminal gang operating in India. So any use of the term “thug” is obviously racist, even if it has been used to describe European and US criminals for 100-150 years.
Plenty of white thugs out there.

Oh my, and visions of the technical drawing teacher I had in high school in New Zealand in 1984 who really was a wonderful man (World War II army veteran and all), but he did not stand for any nonsense and had the cane (”Brutus”) to enforce that sort of idea.
This is the new thing to be offended about, calling thugs “thugs”. I noticed that last week when I read on Facebook about a robbery by two blacks and I called them thugs, and WOW, one reply after another calling me racist! The new thing to be offended by! Don’t call illegal aliens “illegal aliens”, don’t call terrorists “terrorists” and don’t call thugs “thugs”.
This will continue until public officials have more to fear from offending law abiding citizens than from offending the thug class.

I recently walked out of a fast food joint because the cashier was covered in tattoos and piercings. Everything about him screamed “unsanitary.” If he was black, I could be called a racist.
When Peacocking multiculturalists got involved and had to find something new to virtue signal about.
That he was even hired is a surprise, but then maybe the manager is his brother or a friend?
