Let’s assume, for one minute, that these people are honorable men. Mueller must put the toughest people in place to either prove or disprove Russian collusion. He chooses pro Trump people, or if Sessions steps in to thwart the investigation, the media, the democrats, the public say the “fix is in.”
So, he puts the guys who are anti Trump in there to investigate, so no one can say the fix was in.
Remember, Trump was assured by Comey that he was NOT being investigated.
Once again, Trump comes out smelling like a rose.
You’re kidding yourself if you believe this. Just about every media outlet in the country will be 24/7 Trump needs to be impeached. You are thinking tactically when you need to think strategically.
Firing Mueller will give the GOP-E just the opening they need, not just the media. THINK BIGGER.
Yep, I fully understood your argument the first time. All I can say is we will have to wait & see, but I am betting that he is not an honorable man, and none of the rest are either. It is a political witch hunt in my opinion. I will be pleasantly surprised, and will be all too happy to admit that I am wrong. However, I do not believe that is going to be the case though. We can speculate until Hades freezes over. Like I said I sincerely hope I am wrong. Sometimes being wrong is a great thing.
This is my take. I think Trump knows the outcome, and knows that he’s going to be exonerated, and his poll numbers will go up 5 points. I think he used it to get his digs in with the swamp and internally with his staff of losers. God WHAT LOSERS THAT FIRST GROUP WAS!!!! I think the flare up at Sessions was at first real, then he got back a little at Sessions when he wasn’t taking the gloves off enough vs our adversaries.
I think if he honestly thought he was going to be railroaded, he would have fired Mueller.
We shall see.
Now you’re kidding yourself. The GOP-e is cowering in the corner right now, wondering what they can do to save their own asses in 2018. The biggest cowards are already surrendering - like Corker. If they even THINK about impeaching Trump, their constituents will have their guts for garters and they know it.
OR...they can quietly let Trump do all the work disarming the DNC and saving their butts in 2018 with his Tweets, while they lamely attempt to pass some watered-down versions of tax and immigration reform to give the impression of being on Trump’s side. If or when he shuts down the Inquisition, half of them will limply endorse it and the other half will slink off into the corner. The Dems will scream bloody murder, but they will make fools of themselves to the voters who have heard Trump thoroughly explain how corrupt the “investigation” had become.
I’ve heard a theory that Russians approached Jr. just to fish for a possible small blackmail for later as Jr’s proper response should have been to refuse the meeting.
For you history buffs, the Magnitsky Act worked a lot better than the Maginot Line. How Magnanimous it is of me to say so.
All Trump and Sessions had to do was indict Clinton on the basis of Comey’s ending “excessively careless” with classified documents. Then they could have pursued the other issues, the foundation, uranium etc. The fact that it is now 11 months later, means once again she is avoiding justice and the country knows if you’re powerful enough you will never go to jail.
Now she is making stamens;most daily as if she is running agin and she is using that for cover to say, you can’t investigate me, I’m a presidential candidate.
