Assault?...meh, maybe...but I'd bet very few juries would convict her.

Assault and battery, technically. I agree about the likely verdict.

And that was my point.

Jury nullification is a real thing.

Some liberal judges have recognized it...don't like it...and have actually directed verdicts in some cases.

But as I attempted to put forth...there is a certain level of this "response" that the general public and society as a whole will accept, because of the outrage generated by the actions of said kneegoers.

I'm not arguing the right or wrong aspect of it...simply observing the quirks of human nature.
