Bob Corker gave us the Iran Deal, & that's about it. We need HealthCare, we need Tax Cuts/Reform, we need people that can get the job done!
They all need to go
I really don’t get this
He’s Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and helped to support it. A determined opposition by the Republicans could have blocked it.
He was another Rino in the mold of Lugar or Danforth, doing the Obama bidding so everyone thought it was not Obama’s deal.
Corker is another idiot covering up Obama’s origin and Marxism. It is a effing sickness how the real Obama keeps being protected
Cotton was the only dissent and was bullied and shunned by all the others. Cruz scolded him too.

Corker changed the structure of the bill from allowing Congress to reject a deal with Iran to allowing lawmakers to reject the lifting of legislative sanctions, which will be key to any final deal with Tehran. That change brought aboard a number of Democrats like Tim Kaine of Virginia, who were persuaded by Corkers constitutional argument, and in February they introduced a newly revised bipartisan version.
But that wasnt enough. The president still threatened to veto the plan, and many undecided Democrats demanded additional changes, including Cardin, a 71-year-old former House member. Cardin and Corker spoke frequently over the past 10 days, each playing middleman for the respective caucuses.
They agreed to kill a provision requiring the president to certify that Iran does not support terrorists against the United States, language viewed as outside the scope of the Iran negotiations, though the bill requires reports from the administration. They clarified that the bill does not explicitly require Congress to approve or reject a deal.
He sponsored the bill that gave Obama the right to sign the deal with only 1/3 Senate support, not the 2/3 support that would have been required. Almost every GOP Senator supported the insane sell-out of their Constitutional obligation to review treaties. They gave Obama a blank cheque and he sold out America. The latter objections of Republicans after the deal was made were pure crocodile tears. McConnell and the rest of his rat pack only oppose the Dems when they know they can’t win.
Corker could not have done it without McConnel’s complicity and direction. He gave Corker the sword.
Rino’s beware cause we be comming for your sorry asses.
IT’s called Cantoring.
Eric got what he deserved and a whole lot of these GOPers will have a serious challenge by a real conservative come election time.
Good thing Corker will be gone soon!
They gave Obama a blank cheque and he sold out America.

Theres blame for Mitch but Corker is one of the architects of the Iran Deal....which is akin to being an architect of the Munich Agreement in 1930s. This alone should have been the end of Corker. Only a fool would have given everything to Iran and get nothing but token promises in return. Its the Munich agreement all over and dummy politicians seeking Appeasement once again
And what blame does Mitch McConnell share with the Iran Deal?Well if you want to start pointing fingers you'll have to include the so called "constitutional conservative" Ted Cruz too.
What did Cruz do or not do?
Voted FOR the Corker amendment. It’s history.
Not debating...just was not sure—so much stuff has happened since 2008!
Was that the vote that was unanimous except for Tom Cotton - the only one who voted against it?
Yes.
First up was incumbent Senator Bob Corker (R-TN), who made a surprise announcement on September 26 he would not run for re-election, one day after a Breitbart News report about his sweetheart deal in an Alabama retail center development in which Alabama taxpayers are set to pay him more than $3 million over 20 years in sales tax incentive rebates. Though his announcement that he would not seek re-election was couched in terms that claimed it had been made [a]fter much thought, consideration and family discussion over the past year, its suddennessand the fact that Corker felt compelled to offer a lame and incomplete explanation for his investment in a deal that epitomizes the swamp in which the political elite thriveunderscores the potency of the Breitbart News report. Thanks PJ-Comix for Breitbart Goes 'Old Hickory' in Tennessee, Gets 2 Establishment Scalps
