It has a Cook PVI of R +11 . Democrats have held the seat for 22 years since 1879 (16%), almost all of it from 1977-2003 except for four years when it was occupied by Rick Santorum.

So reasonably safe, but not a lock.

The consequences of putting a democrat in the seat are bad in the short term, but maybe we should be looking at the long game.

Suffering through 8 years of 0vomit instead of putting a RINO in the WH got us a backlash that resulted in Trump.

Yes, this fraud needs to be called out every time. Another fraud used by the slimedia is in its use of photographs, smiling photo for a D, an unattractive one for Rs.

But I do think Murphy could have survived and even become a hero - if he had only switched parties.
