There's a difference between reasonable evidence of involvement and definitive evidence, and reasonable evidence is enough to hold someone for further questioning. 58 innocent people died, and many more had their lives turned upside down by this. I am not advocating for ignoring anyones civil rights, but given that Ms. Darnley had a relationship with the shooter, and had reportedly travelled abroad with him to the Middle East, it would appear reasonable to hold her for questioning more than a few hours. After all, this is the same FBI that had Mueller at their helm - the same Mueller who is currently conducting a witch hunt investigation.
