Facebook admitted Monday that its system automatically promoted stories that falsely identified the shooter in the Las Vegas massacre.
The social network said links from Web sites such as “The Gateway Pundit” and others were posted and spread across their site Sunday night.
The stories claimed that the shooter was an “anti-Trump” Democrat and displayed pictures of a man who is not identified as a suspect.

They’re talking about Geary Danley, right? That was a BS story, but I didn’t see if Gateway Pundit covered it because I don’t read the site. That was Google’s fault, really. Stories which claim that the shooter was Muslim are also false, mainly because ISIS was jealous that this guy accomplished in a short timeframe what ISIS couldn’t in their lifetimes, and thus tried to claim him as their own.
The “Paddock wears vagina hat at anti-Trump rally” story has a lot of evidence, and has not been proven to be false. And Marilou Danley was conclusively proven to be a Communist.
The girlfriend of the shooter was the wife of the man IDd by gateway. Everyone in the early hours was scouring the web for connections. A real connection was found. It was relevant one.
Fakebook is (mostly) an 8th Commandment-free cesspool dominated by codependent narcissists and voyeurs.

Can you please point me at the evidence? All I saw was a video of a guy in pink with one of those hats being called "Stephen" or "Steven"...but could not see his face.
