I was a big Penzey’s fan for years. I encouraged other people to shop there. Then this Trump stuff came out and I found myself another spice purveyor who posts recipes, not politics.

I don’t believe his business increased after the election. Show the books (which he won’t).

I am pleased to learn that I haven’t bought a single solitary Penzys product and I canceled their POS catalog too. It’s been over a year now.

Here’s the list of prices for black peppercorns, converted to a 5 pound purchase (I was buying for a business). However, peppercorns unground will last a ridiculous amount of time. They are very well protected in their little shell, so I wouldn’t balk at buying a lot at one time.

These are all online except for Sams Club. I included that, just to compare.

All but the webstaurant store have reasonable shipping, some free if you buy enough. Mount Hope has a business price and a personal price, depending on how you sign up.

Any questions, feel free to ask. I’ve researched prices all over the place for many different spices - but not the multi-colored peppercorns though. But this comparison should help you out, I hope. I always thought Penzey’s wayyyy too expensive, when you compare to less yuppy sites.
