The Mueller investigation is so out of control that the IRS clashed with the Special Counsel’s team all summer over the broad scope and the Manafort raid according to a new report by CNN.
The IRS is now sharing information with Mueller’s team about Trump campaign associates. Mueller’s team is looking at everything tax related which includes real estate and banking. The IRS is concerned because Mueller is going back 11 years in his search. ELEVEN YEARS.
After being at odds for months, the two camps came to an agreement after consultation from officials at the Treasury Department.

Part of the concern centered on the far-reaching and broad requests from Mueller’s team. In the case of Manafort, Mueller’s investigators are reaching back 11 years as they investigate possible tax and financial crimes, according to search warrant documents. Mueller is bound by a written order issued by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in May which allows the special counsel to investigate “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.”
After several months of being at odds, one source said, the IRS Criminal Investigation division is now sharing information about campaign associates, including Manafort and former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn. The sharing happened after the two camps reached an agreement following consultation with officials at the Treasury Department.
The IRS did not participate in the Manafort raid over the summer; the raid was carried out only by FBI agents. This is highly unusual since this particular probe centers around financial issues.

Rip van Sessions needs to put a limit on the extent of the fishing allowed, a budget limit and a close-in date certain to provide results, if any.

Not sure I agree, but that is one theory I heard.

I used to always feel a little concerned whenever something came up about Mueller hiring this or that goon.
Now I see each news article about someone getting hired, or something being investigated that has nothing to do with Trump, as basically evidence that the entire investigation has failed to find of fabricate anything against Trump.
There is no reason to fire Mueller. Let him keep up with his witch hunt. Maybe he gets Manafort for some unrelated financial dealings years ago, and the media will try to embarrass Trump with it for a week or two; bonus points if Manafort had dinner once at a restaurant owned by Russians; but nothing, NOTHING, will come up that is in anyway actually damaging to Trump. Obviously, the Mueller investigation has failed at their primary anti-Trump purpose.

His mission is to nail Trump with something, anything that will get him out of office and the sooner the better. Comey will be avenged and Trump will be destroyed.

I think you may be right.
An independent investigator should be someone without an agenda - otherwise they’re hardly independent. What’s the difference between having a sitting democrat senator or congressman/woman investigate vs having Mueller?
Won't happen. They are playing with fire.
Before this is done, Mueller will be looking at open housing complaints against Rump from the 1970’s !
That is, against Trump...
I was giving the mission according to Mueller and his supporters in both parties.
