“Jared Kushner was apparently one of those who advised the president to back Strange”

So, this is all based on conjecture?

“One of the primary reasons Trump is president today is his belligerent strength. In the face of withering hellfire from the media, Democrats, and even many in his own party, Trump remains his own man.”

Add to that globalists from around the world, but according to these same people, it was really the Russians who came in and rigged the election for Trump. Whatever it was the Russians were supposed to have done, it remains a closely guarded secret. It is only something that is referred to, not explained. And, it is not explained how the Russians, with no experience, managed the election for Trump and bested the best minds in the democrat party. Nor is it explained why the Trump campaign would think that the Russians were better at running an American campaign than they.

I have another perspective. Perhaps once Jarvanka and Jared Trump Jr found out the third child Trump would be sharing in the spoils (and 4th child, too, I would think), they became determinedly furious with “Dad”, colluded to espoil his presidency and his marriage and 4th child, so that Ivanka and Don, Jr., might share the billions in wealth? Partners of either of them would work with them all to pry the money away.

I like my theory. It fits with everything I have read.

Dad should realign his inside group now, kick out those two and get two more with more maturity and moxy. !

Whether the story is accurate or not I think Trump would be better off without Kushner around. His choice of attorney is enough of a red flag for me. I’d rather have Bannon in there any day.

I am a Trump supporter, but what could possibly go wrong having a family member as a political adviser?

“a red flag for me”

There are quite a few red flags regarding Jared and Ivanka.

I was hoping they would have a good influence on POTUS DJT, especially kind of a calming and mellowing out. Your kids kind of do that to you.

But the red flags with them are so so liberal! And they want to push that agenda. It is not good!

I don’t understand why Jared and Ivanka are still on the staff. They’ve shown no inclination to try to appreciate the Deplorable agenda.

I think the “relatives” are turning out to be excess baggage for the administration. Have they advised the President well on any issue?

Author Nolte is a wise, bona fide conservative pundit who usually nails it, and has often done so since returning to Breitbart. This is another example. Kushner is a liability, but it's clear DjT knows that now, if not before. DjT had little to lose in this one, and some Obamacare votes to gain with support of Strange.

BTW, Kushner had said he would help his father in law for a year....times about up. Is it any wonder at all that Javanaka would push dad to the left, in line with their New York colleagues ? None.

Isn’t Kushner big in the NY Dem party? I don’t know anything about him, that’s why I’m asking.

I seem to recall seeing a conversation or two here about Kushner having close ties to the NY Dems.

‘Trump’s son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner was apparently one of those who advised’

“was apparently”

I hate Breitbart. They are as bad as any Leftist site when it comes to unnamed sources. If they can’t get even one person on the record they should kill the story. Otherwise it’s gossip, not news.

He may be...Trump ain’t stupid...family ties gain you good info into the minds of your enemies...quilting cooperation from family members usually works, too...I’m sure he does some of that, too.

Which missteps? Seriously, where are they and what specific ‘damage’ can you site?

Please don’t quote any MSM conclusions about damage, fake.

Also, can’t site stuff Ryan and McConnell and McCain are doing...

The promise of missteps is not valid.

Another click-bait Breitbart headline. The headline tries to make you think they’ve really caught Jared red-handed — with his hand in the cookie jar. Nabbed him in the very act!

But no, the story itself says Jared was “apparently” just “one” of the guilty advisers. Big deal.

Bannon is clearly behind this stuff. Wouldn’t surprise me if some day he comes out as anti-Trump.

The buck stops with the president himself.

But he has plenty of advisors who are more concerned and knowledgeable about Republican politics than Jared or Ivanka.

The idea that Kushner is overriding other advisors to get his own way on this isn't that realistic and it certainly isn't proven.

William F. Buckley's idea was always to go with the most conservative candidate who was electable.

Maybe President Trump's political advisors didn't think Moore was electable or thought he was too embarrassing.

Maybe they thought Mo Brooks was a threat.

There were a lot of factors (and probably a lot of advisors) involved before you get to whatever Jared Kushner was thinking.

Time to go RINO hunting for 2018.
