Not all NASCAR people are siding with Trump -- with Dale Earnhardt Jr. throwing his support behind NFL protesters ... despite several NASCAR owners bashing them.
After POTUS said NFL owners should fire any "son of a bitch" who takes a knee, two of the most powerful men in NASCAR gave major stamps of approval.
Richard Petty said, "Anybody that dont stand up for that ought to be out of the country. Period."
Team owner Richard Childress was asked what he would do if any of his staffers protested the anthem -- "Get you a ride on a Greyhound bus when the national anthem is over."
But Earnhardt -- hands down the most popular NASCAR driver of the last 10 years -- sees things differently ... and weighed in Monday morning with a quote from John F. Kennedy.
"All Americans R granted rights 2 peaceful protests," Dale Jr. tweeted.
"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."

“This is the least surprising thing Ive read in awhile....”<-——what he said
>> All he said is that they have the right to peaceful protest.
They have no Constitutional right that protects them from being fired, mocked, shamed, ignored. The jackass made an idiotic statement ultimately defending the desecration of the Military, Flag, and Country.
>>You KNOW money changed hands
Not really. June-YARRRRRR is a Progressive who is more at home with rappers than honest citizens. NASCAR has tried everything short of making Jimmy Johnson secretly drive his car to give him a championship, but he just sucks too much.
.
>> “so not much for him to lose.” <<
Just every potential endorsement he might have profited from...
.
Hes a loser again.
You never know when the true colors of a person will emerge. Ole Dale couldn’t wait to come out of the closet as anti-patriotic. If anyone is buying his memorabilia. . .forget it.
The fact that he thought he had to respond spoke volumes to me.
“Unless youre white and supporting confederate statutes Dale?”
When Earnhardt Jr. began dishonoring Southern soldiers who fought during Lincoln’s War it was only a matter of time before he would dishonor all American soldiers.
One follows the other. Every time.
Jr never wanted to drive a racecar imho. he is more suited to working in an LLbean store. As far as talent he NEVER had a lick of driving skills.
So, he did this on twitter . . . . Was he at the track? Seeing it is Monday, not likely. If he was, it was at a private test. So, he is free to do what he did within the limitations on his endorsement contracts. Now, if he were at a NASCAR sanctioned testing session, then it would have been on their platform and not his.
Therein lies a perfect analogy. If Kapers and the rest had done this on social media and not making themselves a spectacle on the NFL and Team broadcast medias, then who friggin cares excepting the endorsement sponsors for them. Using the exposure of an internationally televised game to call attention to yourself or agenda they steps over the line.
Yes we are granted the right to protest, but these ungrateful SOBs need to know which side their bread is buttered on. Your daddy would agree. Maybe your concussions have taken a toll.
Bet you he doesn’t kneel during the anthem before his next race. Now the media should ask him if he supports these guys why he doesn’t kneel himself
What a stupid thing to say. His daddy would slap the sh*t out of him for saying that. I don’t know who got the brains (or the driving ability) in the family but it wasn’t Junior.
I don’t think his Dad would have done that.
I agree with Dale - people should have the right to be despicable a-holes. And I have the right to not associate with them.
Why do you refuse us our rights Dale?
And the fans have the right to react. Is he really that stupid?
Jr retired because he turned into a wus and you can tell by his statement.
"All Americans R granted rights 2 peaceful protests," Dale Jr. tweeted.
"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."
Cultural Marxism...and it began in the 60s with radical leftwing terrorists.
