As we reflect on law and policy, it is often useful to see how changes play out in the practical, nitty-gritty of everyday life. For example, we can consider how progressives have, over time, separated love, sex, and marriage. Divorce has skyrocketed during the post-WWII years, out-of-wedlock children have come into existence by the millions, sexually transmitted disease has become rampant, cohabitation is becoming more and more popular with each passing year, the porno industry has captured the time, money, and imaginations of tens of millions of men on the Internet, and there is a gossip feeding frenzy regarding the immoral habits of celebrities. Pedophilia is being publicly defended as a legitimate activity, and being HIV positive is something, according to signs on NYC subways, that can be handled by partnering with one’s doctor and various city agencies.
The “new morality” is manifesting in many ways in our public high schools. Judeo-Christian values and traditional norms promoting integration of love, sex, marriage, modesty, and self-restraint are disappearing with the happy support of school administrations. Schools may not lead students in prayer, but are allowed to lead students into paths of sexual expression.

On one hand, the sexual revolution corrupts everything, because sin is by nature corrupting. On the other hand, government-controlled education was always a dubious idea, and the outcomes have pretty much demonstrated that it’s the wrong way to go.

Exactly. The slow, deliberate, relentless slide has almost destroyed the culture. Religious institutions are next. The ACLU is suing Michigan because they give a religious exception to Catholic adoption agencies who do not place children with Homosexual couples.

They first work to get your kids to not listen to you, or rather to make the teacher the sole arbitrator of information. How do they do that? By telling your kids that you are old-fashioned and your advice is "outmoded." This works to separate your children from you, especially if your kids have problems. Their tactic works best if there is dissension, divorce or no communication in the family.
Their goal is to successfully disengage your children from you.
Sex ed is just the mode by which they do it.

It’s worse than that. They seek to do away with laws that criminalize hiding HIV status from (potential) sex partners and close family, because informed consent is so passe (just as informing a man that you are really a dude even though you got some breast implants and hormone injections). #AIDSpride

...And so began my period as an unwitting witness to history. I stayed with Kate and her lovable Japanese husband, Fumio, in a dilapidated loft on The Bowery as she finished her first book, a PhD thesis for Columbia University, “Sexual Politics.”
It was 1969. Kate invited me to join her for a gathering at the home of her friend, Lila Karp. They called the assemblage a “consciousness-raising-group,” a typical communist exercise, something practiced in Maoist China. We gathered at a large table as the chairperson opened the meeting with a back-and-forth recitation, like a Litany, a type of prayer done in Catholic Church. But now it was Marxism, the Church of the Left, mimicking religious practice:
“Why are we here today?” she asked.
“To make revolution,” they answered.
“What kind of revolution?” she replied.
“The Cultural Revolution,” they chanted.
“And how do we make Cultural Revolution?” she demanded.
“By destroying the American family!” they answered.
“How do we destroy the family?” she came back.
“By destroying the American Patriarch,” they cried exuberantly.
“And how do we destroy the American Patriarch?” she replied.
“By taking away his power!”
“How do we do that?”
“By destroying monogamy!” they shouted.
“How can we destroy monogamy?”
Their answer left me dumbstruck, breathless, disbelieving my ears. Was I on planet earth? Who were these people?
“By promoting promiscuity, eroticism, prostitution and homosexuality!” they resounded.
They proceeded with a long discussion on how to advance these goals by establishing The National Organization of Women. It was clear they desired nothing less than the utter deconstruction of Western society. The upshot was that the only way to do this was “to invade every American institution. Every one must be permeated with ‘The Revolution’”: The media, the educational system, universities, high schools, K-12, school boards, etc.; then, the judiciary, the legislatures, the executive branches and even the library system.
It fell on my ears as a ludicrous scheme, as if they were a band of highly imaginative children planning a Brinks robbery; a lark trumped up on a snowy night amongst a group of spoiled brats over booze and hashish...
I am glad my kids didn’t have to go through that, because I was totally against it. At the time the schools were talking about it, but that was it.
And drugs is one of their tools that work best for them.

I remember reading about parents complaints in Germany during Hitler. They didn’t like the way their children were so disrespectful to them and becoming unruly and sexually promiscuous. And, they got in trouble if they complained about it.

So I had to look that up to see what you were writing about. It just confirms my observation that our culture has democratized behavior which used to be restricted to Caligula and Casanova. *ugh*
