Thanks for the document. Copy and pasted into Word document for study.

My favorite signer is the following.

Dr. Claude E. Newbury M.B., B.Ch., D.T.M&H., D.O.H., M.F.G.P., D.C.H., D.P.H., D.A., M. Med.
Former Director of Human Life International in Africa.

Sheesh. What is he trying to prove with all the initials?

Pope Francis has been given the chance to do the ethical, honorable and decent thing: fix his heresies and twisted conclusions.

I have never seen that behind the Pope’s throne, and I have been to Rome many times. I suspect it is tucked away somewhere, no??

The Catholic Church has liberalized the process of annulment. Annulment plus civil divorce assures a fair distribution of the marital assets, protects the vulnerable spouse, and protects the children. (I know this isn’t always the case.) This is not the best, as remaining married to each other would be better; but, it may be the best that can be done under the circumstances. Especially if we are talking about adultery, spousal abuse or abandonment.

The Catholic position differs from the eastern church, the Protestants, and the Jews, the details of which I cannot cover. But, here is what I can say: the Catholics take the promise of married until death much more seriously. This commitment is viewed as important to the happiness of the adults (as opposed to endless shopping around for a better spouse), and very important for the children and for society.

Allowing sacraments to those who are not married, but are merely cohabiting, is beyond outrageous! Not even the Protestants allow this. Co-habitation is terrible for women and the children who may be formed. Just thinking about this, makes me wonder what the cardinals and bishops are doing. There should be a revolt against this man.

The problem with people who are moral adulterers but civilly divorced and remarried can be handled one case at a time, and privately, by advising people to seek annulments. The truth is, these people have “jumped the gun,” and put the church into an awkward position. It could be that there was a hasty divorce, that the church cannot make right by an annulment. But, even if this is the case, the church has the power to forgive the sin that was involved.

Now we come to what I believe is the real agenda. It is homosexuality. This man is seeking to loose the Catholic Church from its long history of teaching on marriage in order to loose the Catholic Church from its long history of teaching on human sexuality. The Catholics are following the liberal Protestants into apostasy and heresy. They’re putting the narcissistic love of homosexuals ahead of the needs of children and of society for stable families.

A bit more detail on ‘infallibility.” Much more on this site:

https://www.catholic.com/tract/papal-infallibility

Vatican II’s Explanation

Vatican II explained the doctrine of infallibility as follows: “Although the individual bishops do not enjoy the prerogative of infallibility, they can nevertheless proclaim Christ’s doctrine infallibly. This is so, even when they are dispersed around the world, provided that while maintaining the bond of unity among themselves and with Peter’s successor, and while teaching authentically on a matter of faith or morals, they concur in a single viewpoint as the one which must be held conclusively. This authority is even more clearly verified when, gathered together in an ecumenical council, they are teachers and judges of faith and morals for the universal Church. Their definitions must then be adhered to with the submission of faith” (Lumen Gentium 25).

Infallibility belongs in a special way to the pope as head of the bishops (Matt. 16:17–19; John 21:15–17). As Vatican II remarked, it is a charism the pope “enjoys in virtue of his office, when, as the supreme shepherd and teacher of all the faithful, who confirms his brethren in their faith (Luke 22:32), he proclaims by a definitive act some doctrine of faith or morals. Therefore his definitions, of themselves, and not from the consent of the Church, are justly held irreformable, for they are pronounced with the assistance of the Holy Spirit, an assistance promised to him in blessed Peter.”

The infallibility of the pope is not a doctrine that suddenly appeared in Church teaching; rather, it is a doctrine which was implicit in the early Church. It is only our understanding of infallibility which has developed and been more clearly understood over time. In fact, the doctrine of infallibility is implicit in these Petrine texts: John 21:15–17 (”Feed my sheep . . . “), Luke 22:32 (”I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail”), and Matthew 16:18 (”You are Peter . . . “).

There is no step ladder to God. The pope is just another human like many of us. He recons himself more valuable than he is.

Allowing for islam to be a valid religion is a no-go.

Pedophelia is the baseline of the evil church. And so it is in not just the democrat party, but also the republicans. Death to them all.

"A person is able, while he obeys a divine prohibition, to sin against God by that very act of obedience."

Please notice, by scrolling up a bit, that this was listed as one of the seven heresies in the Papal Exhortation Amoris Laetitia.

Therefore this is not Catholic doctrine. It is the opposite of Catholic doctrine.

6 weeks he was given to respond, not a peep from him.

He can’t respond because he has compromised the moral authority to do so.
