During the campaign, Donald J. Trump made lots of promises -- he'd be the greatest jobs president God ever created, he'd cut taxes, he'd balance the budget, he'd give all Americans fantastic health care, he'd renegotiate NAFTA, he'd scotch the Iran deal and so on.
But there was one central promise without which he wouldn't have been elected: He said he'd build a wall.

Apparently Ann thinks China built the wall in 8 months? I agree, she is being way over the top here and expecting a lot. Especially since the Republicans themselves refuse to help President Trump do some of those very promises they themselves promised.
Trump said he could balance the budget IN TEN YEARS.
Whether or not that is possible, it is nine years too soon to tell.

Yup - she seems to think Trump can do it alone. And while I think the border wall is important, if we get conservative judges throughout, corp tax reform/cuts, personal tax reform, de-regulation, and at least most of what Trump ran on, I’d still be pleased as it would be far better than we’d get with anyone else that has run in 30 years.
I’d like to see the Commander-in-Chief send the United States Army to protect our southern border from invasion. Use the Border Patrol to guide and assist the Army and to process those invades who are captured. Use the immigration courts to permanently bar all illegal invaders from any path to legal reentry, even as tourists/students, but use the US Army in whatever numbers are needed to stop essentially all illegals.
And those who are already here or who overstay visas? Once the cross-border influx stops, it will be easier to hunt down and deport the declining number of illegals (who can no longer recross at will), especially if many give up and self-deport. I’m okay with Americans taking the jobs those illegals who work were doing, even if my strawberries cost an extra nickle per pound. I’m okay with increasing the numbers for legal immigration if that would benefit working Americans. I am not okay with any plan that rewards illegal invaders for their criminal activity.
Once the Commander-in-Chief has proven that the invasion can be stopped, perhaps the Swamp will be more willing to tolerate the President of the Untied States doing what the American people want. Perhaps then we can build a great, big, beautiful wall.

Democrats claim the wall won’t work for us. If true, there is no harm in building one, at least by their standards. If false, then they are lying - as is usual for the Ctrl-Left. I’d like to find out how well it will work for America.
That is so true. We can also bet our last dollar that Trump will beef up the border in some fashion. But border security is a very big issue to me. As invaders cause numerous problems for this nation.
I’d LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a border wall, the problem is 0 Democrats do and none of the Chamber of Commerce Republicans (which is, most of the GOP in the Senate)
I know that is the truth. I just want to stress that he needs to stay on them about the border wall construction, even if he knows they will never grant him that. Then it clearly puts the Republicans (the majority who are RINO’s) as the culprits.
I guess there is money to be made with the Never Trump crowd. They squawk about how he cozied up to Pelosi and Schumer but forget that in the process he made them admit he is the President, and got Pelosi heckled off the stage by her own constituents, the Dreamers. And they gave Trump endless crap about Antifa, but weeks later they have to admit that Antifa is the bad guys. It is incredibly difficult to build a wall by executive order when the constitution gives that power to congress. As a Trump supporter who is also aware of who is who in politics, I’m willing to wait for results until the next midterm elections.

People whine a lot, but Ann is 100% correct. As a matter of fact many (including our President) have credited her Adios America as the reason behind Trump’s campaign against illegal immigration. No one however, would ever claim a different reason for his election. No wall, no future.
LOL! Ann has gone off her meds (or on some really potent ones) and some are wanting to join her as she transforms into a never Trumper over an issue that is only being held up because of the Congress. When she made the claim that he should have put the wall in front of sending FEMA in to aid hurting Americans, she might as well have said he should give the Left so much ammo that Mad Maxine gets her impeachment wish.
