Back in 2011, Sen. Luther Strange (R-AL) sought to weaken what at the time was one of the countrys toughest illegal immigration laws.
As attorney general of Alabama, Strange requested that key provisions of the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act, also known as HB 56, be removed according to a December 2011 memorandum he sent to then-Alabama House Speaker Mike Hubbard and Senate President Pro Tempore Del Marsh.
The memo, originally obtained by AL.com, showed Strange wanted to end some of the requirements in the law. Among those were a mandate that officials collect information on the immigration status of public school students, the requirement illegal immigrants carry alien registration cards and a provision of the law that allowed for lawsuits if the states residents did not believe officials were enforcing the law.

Trump wants him. Or is it a wink wink to Moore. I don’t get it.

And Trump wants him?.....Seems strange to me.
You’d think that the President would know you can’t “drain the swamp” with mud turtles like Strange representing the South.
Are globalists a bunch of god damned suicidal jackwagons???
I mean are they literally missing the part of their brains that handle and prefer in-group preference?

Is it a prerequisite of all attorney generals, from local DAs to the Federal AG to be corrupt, incompetent and clueless of law?
Exactly, but thats exactly what he is doing sending Pence down to help him out... Hopefully he fails... but does beg the question as to WHY???
I think Trump has been briefed by McConnell that it’s imperative to the GOP gameplan to keep Luther in DC. Beyond that, if you asked Trump...I doubt if he has any answer.
From Alabama itself...I’d say that around 70-percent of the state are very turned-off by Luther Strange and his connection to former governor Bentley. From the three-way match that existed in the first primary...Mo Brooks was the loser of that, and Mo endorsed Moore (Mo got 19-percent of the vote in that primary). So you can figure Moore with his previous vote, and with Mo’s folks....he ought to easily clear 50-percent.
Bringing Trump into the state....will do nothing to change things.
A cheap and unlimited labor supply is like crack cocaine to the establishment.
Trump doesn’t want him, he’s just playing the game. I am sure Trump will welcome with open arms Moore when he is elected.

I find it funny how the Labor union LEADERS support the libs who then want more illegals to undercut their rank and file who vote for the Labor UNION LEADERS...
talk about some “Kept Chumps”
Moore is weak on immigration too. Both are.
“Trump doesnt want him, hes just playing the game. I am sure Trump will welcome with open arms Moore when he is elected.”
I thought this at first and still do. However it does beg the question that Trump doesn’t seem to playing the same game with Flake as with Strange. Trump has pretty much made it clear that he will work against Flake but so far has taken a different approach with Strange.
I think it may be because Strange has not been as (though some) personally and vocally hostile to Trump as Flake?
Really? Trump says he has a heart for dreamers. Pelosi was in SAN Fran trying to talk about their deal.
Roy Moore and Roll Tide!!
Do you have nothing better to do than haunt Free Republic spreading FUD (”Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt” for those unfamiliar with this Microsoft marketing strategy) about Moore?
For those who care about Trump’s stated agenda, vote for and/or support Moore. For those who want to advance the open-borders, globalist agenda, vote for Strange. It’s that simple.
Of course he did. It is what GOPe does for its cheap labor express masters.
Not only does Trump wants him, but Pence wants him too.
I don’t understand either.
He and Pence will do Rally’s for The Swamp Rat Strange.
Unbelievable.
Javanka?
What game plan? The Swamp Game plan?
lol.. thats the dumbest thing I’ve read in awhile..
vote Moore cause he supports Trump!!
as Trump sends down his VP to support Strange!!
the mental gymnastics you people do amaze me... truely.
