Full title of article: "Amazon.com caught selling illegal FULL AUTO gun parts in ATF sting to convict its own customers with felony crimes"
Here is the Amazon ad, from the article:

Amazon.com is now the worlds largest marketplace of contaminated, untested dietary supplements and food
So’s your old man.

“Sos your old man.”
That’s just what is in the article, moron, copied word-for-word. I didn’t write it, I just posted it.
Yon’t like it, then how about responding with something a little more factual and logical? Unless, of course, you’re about 8 years old and don’t know how.

The seller is “Military Base” not Amazon directly.

I went looking for it myself - and found the same thing. Perhaps they got enough complaints, perhaps this article exposed the entrapment, who knows.
What is important is that it was posted at one time - which means that similar scams/entrapments will likely occur in the future. Just be careful.

Yes, that’s what it is advertised as - which, apparently, is the whole “trick” being played here.
But if you read the article, it points out that the parts in question can be used to convert a REAL Glock to full auto - and mere possession of such a kit, even if you don’t use it to actually convert a Glock, is illegal.

I wonder if Amazon took down the comments warning of a felony with purchase. If so, that’s outright entrapment.
I hope they get a ton more of comments and complaints of entrapment.
Amazon is not a law enforcement agency and should not be involved in stings. You can have individual informants work as such but not the whole company. Was the whole company deputized or recruited as an informant? I doubt it.

“The seller is Military Base not Amazon directly.”
If you have ever searched on Amazon, some items are sold directly by the company, and some are “FSBA” (for sale by Amazon) - i.e. they are actually sold by 3rd parties, but Amazon gets a cut for exposing it to millions of people. “Military Base” is likely just the name of a company (or the scam set up by BATF) - Amazon controls the naming of non-Amazon sellers in any way.

They’ve apparently taken down the entire ad - Megan C searched for it, and so did I, both without result.
But, yes, it would seem like Amazon is participating in (yet another) criminal enterprise involving the BATFE.

What, the striped prison garb? :>)
Yeah, imagine if we actually lived in a world in which citizens were free to buy what they want, when they want, without government threatening to put them in jail for it. My grandfathers lived in such a world - at least regarding firearms - until 1934. It would make me supremely happy if my grandchildren could also live in such a world.

skip to the end.
I would not want to do this to a Glock,it can’t be good for them.

The Second Amendment is clear that the keeping and bearing of arms shall not be infringed
, and even the 'argument' that it only applies to the militia is circumvented in many states due to the State Constitution having verbiage similar to the militia consists of all able bodied males 16 to 45
.
To: redgolum
It would probably last about two seconds on a real pistol.

Constructive possession, having the parts even if not assembled gets you an ATF visit.
I wonder how they reconcile selling threaded pipes and Ammonium 34-0-0
