One fact I'd like to offer is that the Oklahoma seat mentioned is in Norman, home of OU.
Not the sole sanctuary, but a stronghold of the left leaning population of the state. And it's OK for me to say that, btw.
We also lost a state senate seat in District 44 and a house seat in District 75 earlier this year. I believe that we lost all three seats because of all the scandals this year. Former state Sen. Ralph Shortey resigned amid child prostitution allegations and former state Rep. Dan Kirby, who resigned following an investigation into sexual harassment claims made by a former assistant.
