In the 1960s, Civil Rights was about bringing the US up to its promise of Democracy. 60 years later, Civil Rights is used as a weapon to destroy the very principles our Democracy was founded on.

I’m a US citizen. Not a resident of College Park though. I (Thank God) reside in Texas.
But using their logic - I can still vote there, right?

I am a member of the Republican Central Committee for Prince George’s County, Maryland. We discussed this at our Monday meeting and agreed to take a stand on the issue, a bit too late really. One of our members, a resident of College Park, brought it up. Lee was planning to attend the council meeting. Isn’t it dreadful what damage a 4 to 3 majority can do?

Even when GW Bush was elected, the first time he mentioned what our country is he said a democracy. I cringed
Democracy leads to socialism which leads to communism.
This is why the USA and other western countries are trying to make democracies of any nation they can.
The USA is a Constitutional Republic.
