He’s got the backing of the GOP president. RINOs are for it and only a few safe RINO votes are needed.
It’s sure to pass. Trump’s first major legislation to be passed is likely to be amnesty.
This is a nation of more than 300 million people. Giving this kind of priority to 800,000 people who are living here illegally demonstrates a sense or priorities that can only be described as completely warped and f#%&ed up.
The GOP will face a disaster next year -- and probably for years after that -- if we get to the spring of 2018 and we have some kind of permanent "solution" in place for these 800,000 illegal immigrants ... while Americans are still dealing with this abomination known as ObamaCare.
If they promise President Trump sixty miles of really heavy fencing that he can call a wall, he’ll sign three DREAM Acts.

I supported Trump's move to outflank McConnell's attempt to box Trump in, but Trump now has to deal with the reality that Schumer is the fabled scorpion that is now stinging its enabler.

The Repubs were already criticizing Trump before this for threatening DACA. They didn’t know he would simply hand it to them and say, if you want it, make it a law.
In other words, put up or shut up.
He is making it pretty plain that while he may oppose amnesty for illegals in general, he favors it in this case.
I do hope when they write this law, they will write it in such a way that felons get booted without any major heartburn. If you are in prison, you go. If you are headed to prison and you aren’t a citizen, and your green card is granted through DACA, you go without any appeal.
I hope we get at least one more Supreme Court Justice before Schumer becomes official head of the Senate.
