The Repubs were already criticizing Trump before this for threatening DACA. They didn’t know he would simply hand it to them and say, if you want it, make it a law.
In other words, put up or shut up.
He is making it pretty plain that while he may oppose amnesty for illegals in general, he favors it in this case.
I do hope when they write this law, they will write it in such a way that felons get booted without any major heartburn. If you are in prison, you go. If you are headed to prison and you aren’t a citizen, and your green card is granted through DACA, you go without any appeal.

IOW, depart them ALL?? What’s the charge(s) for: illegal entry/visa over-stay, SS\identity fraud, driving w/o a license/insurance, fraud\perjury (mail, schools, govt services, etc.)??
Sure as hell if *I* did any ONE, it wouldn’t be a swat on the wrist!
