I was trying to remember why I wasn’t here Fri. night and it hit me ..... the remnants of Harvey fired up the ol’ arthritis so badly it was a misery to sit in the desk chair. I was horizontal a lot, on the heating pad. Otherwise I’d been racing ya for the 50s and 100s. :-)

Have a good day tomorrow. I’ll be sporadic in the evening since the final segment of that documentary will be on tomorrow night.

Rain boots are okay.
As a matter of fact, I
recently bought a pair similar to these but
covered with bright flowers because
we've been having so much rain
our lawn is never dry and walking on it is like a sponge.
Had more rain overnight and possible scattered today.
Latest news on IRMA means more rain.

Well, good news is that we finally got our gas fireplace (insert) installed.
The bad news is the face plate/surround is dented
so a new one has been order.
Happily it does not affect using it.

know anything/everything about gas fireplaces? I have questions.

Today is gym day, so I'm off in a few.
