She's tryi..., er, lying to justify the advice that she got to either publicly ignore Sanders to demonstrate to her base and his that he's a nobody,
or,
to ignore his attacks so that she didn't give some meat to her foes by addressing any of Sanders' accusations.
She's just not smart enough, even without the closet full of skeletons she's built up over the years, let alone with it, not to let something slip as well as not to come out as the crooked, evil, vile POS that she's been since at least Yale Law.
