Who the Hell Is James Clapper to Question the President’s Fitness for Office?

RUSH: I have collected a bunch of things from last week that I must comment on. I cannot let these things pass. But I don’t know if I’m gonna get to any or all of it today.

But I’m gonna get to it, such as that idiot Clapper on CNN last week after the Trump rally in Phoenix and what he said. This is the former national security adviser for Obama, and he’s on TV, on CNN, I didn’t know he’s become a CNN analyst or Democrat strategist or whatever they call the guy. Did you hear what he said? Were you paying attention? We’ve got it on tape here if we get to it. But he said essentially, “I’m scared. I don’t think a man like this, I can’t believe he’s president. So unfit, has no business being in office. This is a horrible, horrible thing.”

And then he said, “And what worries me even more is the kind of people who would be attracted to a rally like this, I’m terribly, terribly –” Who the hell are you, punk? And I’m watching this stuff, this is arrogant condescension. This swamp stuff, it’s getting worse. Even though Russia has vanished, although it actually hasn’t, it’s still lurking in the weeds out there.

Hey, Jimmy, you bald-headed POS, the decision as to whether any particular person is fit to be President is way, WAY, WAAAAAAAAY, above your paygrade (or your FORMER paygrade, as the case may be). For three and a half years I have been questioning why Clapper should be head of the NSA.

He in my opinion is not competent (see terrorist attacks in US), to hold the office.

Then again, I know why Clapper was put there. He and Brennan were there to protect 0bama and his illegitimacy.

Clapper is an arrogant narcissist convinced that he’s above the laws due to his civil servant positions within the government.

He doesn’t believe in elected governments and disdains their very existence. He showed his contempt for it by lying to Congress. What he did there was the tip of the iceberg with a guy like that. In his world, it’s considered good form to obfuscate elected representatives, and to try to get away with as much as possible.

He and his buddies use the classification system to hide their activities FROM the Congress.

This is just another in a long line of abuses that he’s engaged in. Routine insubordination to civilian control has been the hallmark of his life, and he would lie under oath in a courtroom. It’s part of the world he comes from: only they matter, only they decide what matters, and the rest of us owe them obedience and money.

Sound familiar? The English aristocracy was the same.

And the Clapper interview, like many administration dog-and-pony shows, was not about transparency or openness or even information per se. In another day, any public chat with an Intelligence official might have been relegated to the desinformatsiya file.

Clapper seems to be a basically decent person... even when he sees the world through 'liberal elite' eyes. Can't say the same for Brennan... he's bad news. Clapper's interview verged on disinformaton... lots of body language at odds with what he was saying.
