NcGreggor was all but out on feet.
Gerry Cooney called this one, down to the strategy and round.
Absolute and total waste of time and money for anyone stupid enough to actually pay to watch it.
Now, bring Mayweather into the octogon...I might pay to watch that.
Two totally different combat sports, totally different rules, and some dumb ass out there actually thought it would a miraculous thing wherein the Loudmouth would prevail.
Some folks got more money than sense.
Now, Mayweather and Mac...what ever his name is, have much more than they had before.
But not a penny of mine.
Even Conner was saying “that was it, that was it”

What I saw was a man having to give up half his fighting skills just so Mayweather would get in the ring with him and he still went 10 rounds against the world champion. If anything it legitimized MMA and the skills they posses. Now is Mayweather willing to get into the ring with McGregor and fight buy MMA rules? Or is he just half a fighter?
I expected the WWE to underwrite/produce this “fight of the century”

SO MUCH WINNING: @FloydMayweather supported @TeamTrump & attended the #inauguration with us! 🇺🇸 #TeamMAGA #MoneyTeam #McGregorVsMayweather
The White House colluded with the ref!
Half? Closer to 80 percent.
This fight was very entertaining. Worth every penny I paid while watching with breakfast this morning on youtube.
The fix was in! More winning!
Both my boys wanted to box, I learned a lot watching them train. It is much more interesting now with a little knowledge of the sport. It’s not just two guys trying to hurt each other, there is strategy, strength and grace there, and two guys trying to knock the other down.
“.....Mayweather was just toying with him the whole night.”
Actually I would differ. Floyd was not prepared for this fight and/or Conor.
He was surprised by a jab and the unorthodox style, a cross between of George Foreman and Chuck Wepner.
The early rounds showed Floyd was confused and not sure how to deal with the reach too. No one saw that coming and Floyd admitted he was surprised how good his opponent was after the fight.
The end was determined more by the lack of experience and late round ability of Conor. He ran out of gas and Mayweather took advantage of it in the end.
Far better than most said.
lol is he still around? The great white hope? Loved to watch him fight htough
[[Now, bring Mayweather into the octogon...I might pay to watch that.]]
I’m afraid that would be A worse idea than bringing a MMA fighter to boxing- Bringing a boxer to MMA means the boxer is totally out of his league as he doesn’t know wrestling, jujitsu, tae kwan do, kick boxing etc- At least when an MMA fighter goes to boxing- they have at least some skill in boxing- many started out as boxers- then trained in the other skills necessary to win in MMA- A boxer goign into MMA hasn’t had that training at all
That's how it felt to me, too. I know nothing about boxing. But the big buildup, the in your face between the two of them, Mayweather's obvious passiveness for most of it, neither looking beat up, the glibness of them both at the end ... none of it felt genuine and authentic.
Hey who is Colin? Ithink you got hit in the head one too many times
I agree. Put a less cautious, bigger puncher than Mayweather, say GGG or Canelo, and he would have slipped McGregor's amateurish punches and countered with some thunderous punches. It would have been over quickly.
I was sipping a few during the match. I guess u are accurate. :-). Conor, Colin... All leprechauns to me. LoL
McGregor lasted as long as he did due to his beard softening Mayweather blows to his face.... : )
