I have long enjoyed Mike Rowe's work on television show narrations, and, more recently, his outspoken values-driven commentaries on social issues. I also have been a fan of his 'The Way I Heard It' podcasts. Simply put, this is a brilliant rebuff of someone who truly deserved it. It's the mark I aim for when I respond critically to someone who has written something stupid in an online forum. It's a keeper!

BTW -- here's one of my favorite parts of his post, which will probably not be cited by others commenting on his remarks: "And really, I couldn’t care less."

Yeah, I'm a prig. It drives me crazy when I read the more commonly-used, illogical form -- "I COULD care less." And it makes me even crazier that frequent use has resulted in its being considered an acceptable variant for expressing the same thought...
