This is about the fourth time in the last half-hour that I've posted the fact that NO tear gas canisters were used tonight. LE used special smoke canisters that put up a "wall" that the protestors can't see through for a long time.

It's probably a new state-of-the-art product that does the trick without the many disadvantages of tear gas bombing.

No major incidents tonight...great work by the Phoenix police officers using the right dispersal "weapons" at the right time and holding that thin blue line all night with unstable, radical trouble-seekers a few yards from them trying to taunt them and stare them down.
