Americans will have to wait longer to see what President Donald Trump’s promised wall might look like.

The Department of Homeland Security revealed to Breitbart News that the announcement for border wall prototypes scheduled for the summer has been delayed until October or November.

David Lapan, the press secretary for the Department of Homeland Security, explained that although the bids were selected, one vendor protested the decision, which delayed the process. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is awaiting a decision on the protest from the Government Accountability Office.

“explained that although the bids were selected, one vendor protested the decision, which delayed the process.”

I wonder if this was on purpose?

If you’re a leftist, you put in a terrible bid, then go to court to delay. It’s how they work.

one vendor protested the decision, which delayed the process.

I guess Trump forgot to rollback that regulation.

Let the process go forward while some task force hears the protest.

It’s pretty common tactic by many companies. Glock protested when Sig was selected as the new military sidearm. It delays a lot of projects and costs jobs/money to sort it all out.

Well its not his fault;

“explained that although the bids were selected, one vendor protested the decision, which delayed the process.”

.

Its due to a protest filed by one of the companies that bid on the construction.

That is actually not a bad process when it comes to government contracts to private companies. They should have the option for a review if they lose a bid to keep the process as corruption free as possible.
Notice I said AS POSSIBLE. ;)
