Not that I like mentioning them. But you have the Clintons to.
And what better way to argue for the raise is to say “we are out of money and can’t protect the president.”
Caps are in the budget, like sequestration for the military, but there are budgeting actions that can be used to get around the lie this story is supporting.
I suppose it would not be too hard to prove or disprove the claim that many agents have reached the legal limit on their compensation.
You would never receive copies of TDY expenses for each Agent. The budget total, yes, but not for the individual Agent.
Bingo!
You need help. What the hell do you think the 160 K is for? These punks are not in COMBAT like our military has been for far less money. You sound like a gov employee.
I’m sure I need all kinds of help. The poster who said an agent’s compensation is capped at $160,000 must think everyone gets that. That is a cap, not a realistic reflection of what agents actually receive. First, that includes all benefits such as health insurance and retirement. Second, unless pay has gone up astronomically in the last few years, the people I knew in the service were making nowhere near that.
Nobody gets to be president anymore unless he or she is wealthy. My point is that taxpayers should only have to pay for protection for the president, the VP, and their dependent children. Democrats milk any government program for everything they can get.
They make well over what a Captain does who is commanding an Infantry company in combat gets paid. that Captain may never even come home.
