Rush has been behind a lot. Starting with the '16 Primaries when he was a full throated backer of Cruz & Rubio. IMHO, he never really got on the Trump Train. I say that from my observation of him saying "you Trump supporters" vs ever saying "us Trump supporters".

Possibly Rush had insiders during the Bush 1, Clinton, Bush 2 and Obama administrations. If he no longer has insiders and maybe is tired of spending a lot of time on research, he is no longer very interesting. I never did like his bombast, but the bombast without real information is not worth listening to IMHO.

You need read your history about the French Revolution when you start making analogies. Like Robespierre, Trump took out the Establishment, GOP and Dem. He took down 16 Reps including senators, governors, and other dim bulbs in his first attempt at elective office. And he essentially funded his own campaign spending far less money than many of his opponents. It took cajones the size of church bells to carry it all off. And he then proceeded to take down the anointed Dem queen whom Obama called the most qualified candidate ever for President and who had the total support of the MSM. Trump won despite the polls and Hillary's more than a billion dollar campaign fund. She outspent him and he outworked her.

Obama is no longer President. He has been "killed" with Trump taking his place thru a legitimate election. Trump has bigger balls than Robespierre. He canceled TPP and the US participation in the Paris Climate Accords knowing full well this would cause the globalists to go postal. Trump has endured despite the most vitriolic and virulent attacks by the MSM and the left along with the GOPe and #NeverTrumpers.

He may or may not be able to defeat the denizens of the DC sewer, but he deserves the utmost respect and admiration for trying. I think you are right,the dc,nyc media makes it look otherwise but when you stop and think about it we have two Republican parties. One is local where all the real patriots are and the other is national where all the goofballs are. It's a strange dynamic but we need to keep that in mind or go crazy with what they do in dc or in many cases don't do in dc.
