Its one for the ages, and describes the current climate so well. When I am recruiting new members for FR and our Sunday group, I always tell them to read your insights to brighten their outlook on the gloom and doom they are subjected to from other forms of media.
In the mid-1950’s, my grandfather went back to Poland to visit the homeland. While he was there he took black and white photos of some of the concentration camps the Soviets had left open and available, sort of like a tourist attraction. I remember my mother was very upset with him for letting me see them, in particular the pile of skulls in one photo.
I was only about 5 or 6 when this happened, but even then I realized that true evil exists in this world, and won’t be stopped with words or emojis. Every time I remember to do so, I thank God that all of my grandparents came to this country so I could be born an American.
Lived in Belgium for 5 years, and during that time had the opportunity to visit several of the concentration camps. As our kids were in high school then we took them with us and let them know that this happened during the last century and their grandfather served in the US Navy as a medic on Normandy to help end it. it was also important to let them know he was in his early twenties then, and he like many others had their early adult and later life greatly shaped and affected by what they saw and did to protect our future.
Sadly that is lost on todays fools who think its all about them, and justice for alleged wrongdoings. They don’t realize that just like those long ago forces they are being lead down a path to oblivion for ulterior games by a few...

They are almost certain that most people will never hear what Trump actually said. Almost no one goes to the source, especially not the people who think that the leftist media actually reports the news.
The fake news media's lies and half-truths are immortalized on the internet, ready to pop up with any internet search. Even if the lying leftist media formally retracts a lie, that news is buried on the internet after many entries which repeat the lie.
Timing is key as well. Outright lies are told by the media all the time. On the rare occasions they do retractions you find them days later on page 37A if you are lucky. The drivebys know all the tricks.
