Yesterday, my buddy was preparing to pave his new business-park development and an official from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources came and said that although Utah had granted him permission to develop the property, now that the issue is back in Federal hands, as of twelve o'clock noon, his work was shut down until the Feds give the okay. She then went to three other projects that I know of and shut them down as well.

Just came back from Colorado vacation ... my step daughter lives across the street from a flat field with nothing but prairie dogs. She mentioned a developer cleared the land but could not begin development due to a short spurt of bad weather. During that bad weather the prairie dogs moved in ... and since they are a protected species in Co, development had to be cancelled. Nothing but a field with prairie dogs now.

Well, little fuzzy cute creatures have a place. Right next to the mashed potatoes. Although prairie dog is not a culinary choice for most. :-)

“regulation of the Utah prairie dog”

This is how the commies shut down business and development.

There is no significant difference from the above w/any other prairie dog.

Taken in sum, the prairie dog population would not be a candidate as an endangered species, so they come up w/a faux taxonomy to ensure it does.

If Utah did not provide a small enough “demographic”, they’d probably start breaking it up by zip code such as “The Salt Lake City 84101 Prairie Dog.”

Would be a terrible shame if someone dropped poison bait in the middle of the night.
