Why aren’t the anti history crowd triggered by seeing blacks as a reminder of slavery clamoring for their removal ? That makes about as much sense as the BLM demand. I suppose BLM will stop their members from flying the afrikan group flag and vendors selling BLM t-shirts and hats also.
Once the nation of America “rids itself of any and every symbol of Native American culture”, the, MAYBE, that will happen.
However, I doubt that will happen, because of all the usage of Native American culture is deep within the New Age shamanic movement, in both America, and England.
The total 15% Negro population of America should look to themselves, with the example of the Shinneckock tribe on Long Island, which is predominanatly of Negro extraction.

Replace Confederate imagery with statues of Che and Marx? Blacks of today never suffered under the confederacy or the USA prior to the CW. The CW is not to blame for their problems, nor are the Generals who fought for the South. Slavery ended 150+ years ago, that’s what, 7 generations past and they still blame the south for their lack of achievement? I was in Germany a couple of times in the past few years. I walked the flea markets in Frankfort and Berlin, there were Nazi goodies all over the place, at high prices, higher than they were when I was there doing training with the army in the early 80’s. You couldn’t fly the flag, but you could have one as an historical relic. I’ve been to homes where there were pictures of relatives in WW II uniforms. I’ve seen graves of WW II soldiers, undisturbed. (Unlike the neglected Russian ones in Poland.) Soldiers don’t start wars, the politicians do. The Southern Soldiers like the German ones were brought into the war whether they liked it or not. The German Army didn’t go to war to kill Jews, nor did the Confederate soldiers go to capture more slaves. The CW wasn’t about slavery, it was about keeping the Nation together mainly for economic reasons. Like today, the Democrats didn’t like the way things were run so they wanted out, and have their own separate country. (Maybe like CA recently, with President Brown?) Bottom line, soldier statues are for the brave men who did their duty when called to duty, In the words of Tennyson, and the Charge of the Light Bde; “Theirs not to reason why, theirs but to do and die”. It didn’t mater if they were blue or gray, they were Americans doing their duty as soldiers. We had no SS or NKVD, no Gulags and No Aschwitzes, but we did have heroes in uniform on both sides, whether they wanted to be there or not. Many of the Confederate veterans continued to serve in the U.S. Army after the war ended. (Gen. Wheeler of Conf. Cav. fame was in the Spanish American War, I believe he lead a charge yelling; “Get those Damn Yankees men”.) We didn’t hang our Confederate Generals, they became good citizens, and in many cases served in Government after the war. The destruction of monuments, doesn’t impress me as much as cleaning up one’s neighborhood would. The BLM Group to me only refers to Blacks Lacking Motivation, to learn, so they can earn. It wasn’t the CW that is holding them back, and the downed monuments will not change anything for them.
Dictators whether socialist, communist, globalist...whatever, always seek to revise/erase history. The Khmer Rouge would come into a town and kill anyone who wore glasses, presuming they were intellectuals. They'd kill or imprison teachers, officials, historians and the like. What we are seeing now in America is a sanitized version of this very same behavior.
Funny...Antifa or Anti-fascist utilize the very same fascist tactics they profess to demonstrate against. Pro-choice liberals are pro-choice....that is until you disagree with their choice. Free speech advocates...until one speaks freely of ideology differing from their own.
This “is” the enemy within the gates y'all. All this was fomented and nourished under Obama the great.

I’ve always wondered, what if there IS a fire in a theater! Can you yell “FIRE!” then? I am reminded of the IROQUOIS theater fire and several others.

Will “similar” type flags be banned? What of the New Russia flag in Ukraine? Or a green flag with maple leaves replacing stars. There are dozens of ways to get around this.
There is even a Russian Imperial and Communist flag that looks exactly like the Confederate flag without the stars. Same color and everything, just has the Double eagle on one and the hammer and sickle on the other.
It was their own African brothers who sold their ancestors into slavery. The Confederacy didn’t.
