Whites in general do not have civil rights protections, but if it was aimed at women as it seemed then women are a protected class, so maybe a “hate crime.”

Means nothing. It's just some college snowflake repeating what she's learned in one of our prestigious educational institutions at the feet of one of our myriad over paid, unqualified, under worked, tenured professors.

When you see the foaming at the mouth fanaticism of the (white) female repeatedly kicking the downed statue you see just how effective the idea of “racism” is to these lost morons. They are being taught from an early age in government institutions that being white is reason for guilt. They are indoctrinated with hate. In Huntington station? No there are no college students there.SUNY @ Stony Brook is only about a half hour away on the Northern State Parkway, and Farmingdale is even closer.
