Mitch McConnell joins John Kasich in Republican attack on Trump...

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has weighed in on the weekend's violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, castigating Donald Trump without naming him.

'We can have no tolerance for an ideology of racial hatred. There are no good neo-nazis,' McConnell said in a statement.

The choice of words, while careful, appeared to push back against Trump's claim on Tuesday that some 'very fine people' were among a crowd of white supremacists who rallied in the college town.

McConnell's wife, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, stood next to Trump on Tuesday as he insisted both sides of the weekend's clash bore some responsibility for the violence that led to one death and nearly two dozen injuries.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich tore into Trump earlier in the morning.

'Pathetic, isn't it just pathetic?' Kasich said kicking off a 'Today' show appearance Wednesday morning.

The more the scum media and garbage RINOs pile on, the stronger my support for Trump.

Keep it up.

On Saturday there was a thread posted right here on FreeRepublic by someone who witnessed the entire event that began around 12:00 when the police herded the original demonstrators out of the park.

Are you going to sit there now and tell another Freeper that he or she is not a "good person?"

The principles is simple:

If Richard Spencer is organizing a rally, you do not go.

If people at your rally are chanting “Blood and Soil” or “Jews Will Not Replace Us,” you leave.

Period. Full stop.

And for God’s sake, 90 percent of the posts here are judging people’s motivations. We have several threads on whether the organizers were undercover government agents.

Its days like today when I think America is hanging by a thread. And that thread is the courageous and good man Donald Trump.

These repoublicans still have never learned, their fate is tied to trump, they go against him and they can forget getting the vote of people like me ever again.

(Sigh) maybe in America 2.0 we will have a media that isn’t a bunch of leftists lying filth. Until then, stock up for the coming civil war against the totalitarian left. They are going to rule your life like the Taliban if they get the chance.

There were no good people there. None.

I made light of that, but it's a dangerous statement. With judgement calls like that they can put you in the slammer for anything.

I have no idea who even organized the rally. Have you any first-hand evidence of who was there and what they were doing?

SO Trump was entirely correct to point out that both sides did violence, but was an idiot to try to argue that Nazis and Supremists were “fine people”.

And you sir are an idiot and a liar for trying to argue that he did.

You are running with the MSM talking points. You apparently think that anyone who thinks taking down war memorials is bad is a Nazi. The real Nazis were the ones who were hiding their faces, wearing helmets and beating old men and women with baseball bats.

Trump made me proud to have voted for him yesterday. If you think that makes me a bigot or a racist then say it to my face. I also am violently opposed to the liberal Taliban taking down memorials to Confederate Soldiers. I guess in your mind that makes me a Nazi or a bigot.

The real Nazis were the ones who came there to bash in the heads of those who came to support their southern heritage. And I suppose you think that any white male who says "Y'all" must be a white supremacist.

Just go away.

Both Bush presidents have issued a joint statement that smells like a shot across the bow.

The worthlessness of the Republican Party is fully demonstrated by those who refuse to agree with President Trump’s statement yesterday regarding violence from both sides last Saturday in Virginia.

Richard Spencer organized it. I would provide the links, but I’m pretty sure we can’t link to Storm Front.

And yes, they were chanting “Jews won’t replace us” and “Blood and Soil.” (Which is a ridiculous thing for any American to chant. We are a society built on a creed, not attachment to a land).

Apparently they think that dressing in black uniforms, wearing black masks, rioting, arson, and attacking those with whom you disagree with baseball bats is what America is all about and are just great people.

Those who are jumping on the anti-Trump bandwagon are just pandering low life politicians, what do we expect from this type of vermin.

Time to start burning up the phone lines to these idiots, both the D.C. and local offices. This crap needs to be nipped in the bud as it will be open season on Trump supporters before long. These idiots probably don't even know what Anitifa is - time to let them know. I've already contacted my dopey GOP rep, and will keep the heat on going forward. We can't sit back any longer and expect the GOP jokers to discover their backbones - it won't happen without some real push-back on our part.

Then why aren’t they outed? I should say, I wish they were outed. I have been thinking about it for a week but I don’t know how. The picture of a small Hispanic-looking woman holding a creased Nazi flag as if it had just been unfolded from a package is a case in point. She looked about as in-Nazi as you can get. She looked confused.

Lots of others. All the Nazis were strange-looking people.

I mean flat-out Nazis in regalia.

This is actually good. I want McConnell and and the other Mc and Linda and Kassie and all of them to go lift up a full cry against Trump and quit pretending they have anything other then Soros’s and the Chamber of Commerce’s interests at heart.

Are we talking about the Friday night rally or the chaos on Saturday?

The chaos on Saturday was a clusterblank. You can argue that there were good people there. You can argue that there were people caught up in the mess there. You can obviously blame many sides for the violence there.

If you were carrying a torch at the Friday night rally, yes, you are a bad person.

1. I wasn't there.

2. I have seen no video of any event where such a thing took place.

3. I don't take anything at face value if it comes from a source I don't know.

4. For that matter, I simply assume that I'm never getting an accurate story about ANYTHING unless it comes from someone I know and trust.

I do not endorse white supremacy, racial bigotry or any form of lawlessness. That being said, our constitution does insure the right to peacefully assemble. I may not like what you say, but I will defend your right to say it.

Before anyone finds fault in what President Trump said, they must answer factually two questions.

Who hurled the first verbal assault, Antifa or the White Nationalists?

Who threw the first punch, Antifa or the White Nationalists?

Antifa came to the encounter armed for combat. That is not protected under the constitution. If they instigated the violence, verbally or physically, they are equally to blame for the escalation. That would make President Trumps statement 100% true, regardless of what his our your personal philosophy is.

Well under that standard, you can justify anything.

Every report from Friday night - from the right and from the left - mentions the “Jews Won’t Replace Us” and “Blood and Soil” chants. I suppose everyone could be lying.

So, let’s change the question, if you went to this rally thinking you were going to honor good ol Bobby Lee, and ran into a lot of dudes chanting about Jews and giving Nazi salutes, what would you do?
