The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta forecast a 3.7 percent rate for the third quarter of 2017.
The GDPNow model forecast for real GDP growth (seasonally adjusted annual rate) in the third quarter of 2017 is 3.7 percent on August 15, up from 3.5 percent on August 9. The forecast of the contribution of personal consumption expenditures to third-quarter real GDP growth increased from 1.91 percentage points to 1.97 percentage points after this morning’s retail sales release from the U.S. Census Bureau.

I checked recently and found that the best ANNUAL GDP growth for Obama was about 2.5%. Anything over that, especially quarterly is a complete repudiation of Obama policies.

The only thing that matters is the ECONOMY
This is a nation wide estimate. Atlanta Fed is the Fed that does the national GDP stuff.
They may VERY WELL revise 2nd Q up, which would mean that with a strong 4th quarter we could end the year above 3%, considered impossible. People told Trump he couldn’t do it.
Moreover, if Congress would get off its ass and cut taxes, pass HC reform, infrastructure . . . I kid you not . . .
The USA could see 6% economic growth.

Nationwide. But that's for the quarter, not the year. And that's one bank's prediction. Obama had some quarters where growth was higher than that and as the story points out annual growth was anemic at best.
If this projection should turn out to be even close to accurate, the media will do everything it can to smother the good news. They will ignore it, find reason to fault it, or create another distraction to avoid covering it. They cannot allow Trump to be the beneficiary of any good news, even if it helps the country as a whole.
