Independent Journal Review (IJR) collected a few unintentionally hilarious Twitter responses from journalists who reported being shaken by President Donald Trump’s aggressiveness in an extraordinary press conference Tuesday that was centered on questions about the weekend’s violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Vanity Fair reporter Gabriel Sherman was actually physically ill: “I am totally rattled by that presser. Chest tight, stomach queasy. Feel sick”:
Perhaps he should have his testosterone checked. It seems seriously depleted. But then, he does write for Vanity Fair.
Magazine editor David Lytle tweeted his empathy for Sherman: “I vomited on election night. Today, I bawled for 20 minutes. The stress and anxiety brought on by a threatening president is overwhelming”:
NBC’s Chuck Todd reportedly said on the air that the press conference gave him “the wrong kind of chills.”
“Honestly I’m a bit shaken by what I just heard, and I suspect it’s not just me,” he added.
Yahoo News editor Garance Franke-Ruta accused the President of “defending the nighttime white supremacist protest at UVA with torches”
CNN’s Brian Stelter echoed this concern, saying that “Trump risks sounding like a spokesman for the Unite the Right rally right now”
Trump claimed that “both sides” were to blame for the violence in Charlottesville, meaning the white supremacists and the “alt-left” radicals. That fair and balanced approach wasn’t what the left-leaning media wanted to hear.

I particularly loved it yesterday when some idiot “reporter” was yelling out a question and Trump told him “I’m not done yet, fake news.”
He doesn’t let them get away with it, for the first time EVER, and they simply cannot stand it. The left has been outed as a bunch of demented, perverted, anti-American, sub-educated, under-developed, violent morons, and the Republicans in Congress have been outed as being nothing more than little pieces of lint in the pockets of their leftist masters. The media has been COMPLETELY outed to the point where they don’t even pretend to be unbiased anymore (even Fox News). Leftist judges now routinely ignore the law and vote according to their ideology. Want police protection if you’re on the right? Good luck. The leftist police will sit and watch public property destroyed and do nothing about it.
If there’s another Civil War in this country, one thing will be COMPLETELY beyond doubt... and that’s who started all this, simply because they could NOT accept the results of an election, like adults.
Leftists always try to get the moral upper hand in a situation. Trump does not want to capitulate to agitators and should say so.
Trump did well overall yesterday but there’s two adjustments he needs to make in his comments: First, by now I’m sure he knows that very probably most of the “white nationalists” at the Charlottesville protest were fake paid protesters brought in by left-wing organizers to impersonate “white nationalists” and discredit everyone who opposes removal of confederate monuments. Trump knows that this was very likely a false flag operation by left-wing activists, and that the people carrying “KKK” signs and tiki torches were fake paid protesters carrying fake signs. But Trump needs to keep in mind that the media and most Americans don’t know yet that this was a false flag operation, and that a peaceful group of protesters who want to maintain historical monuments was infiltrated by fake paid demonstrators carrying fake flags. So he should avoid saying things like “there were some fine people who were there that day to protest removal of a historical monument”, because the public doesn’t know yet who was there and what actually happened. Instead, just talk about violence by the vicious left-wing counter-protesters.
Secondly, DJT shouldn’t mention that Washington and Jefferson were slave owners, because that just supports the left-wing narrative that our Founding Fathers were a bunch of racists. Instead, just ask the question...”where does this stop, are they going to tear down Mt. Vernon, Monticello, and the Jefferson memorial next?” That’s a very important question...where does this drive to erase history end and what are the real motives of people who want to destroy historical monuments?
Overall, Trump did well yesterday and the vast majority of Americans are not concerned about Charlottesville and instead are interested in jobs, the economy, and the hyperinflation of health insurance premiums caused by the horrible health care law passed entirely by democrats. (My premiums have almost tripled in five years...and because of that I will fight the democrats are hard as I possibly can for the rest of my life. Democrat politicians have no idea how angry we are about what they did to our health insurance premiums.)
At this point, I think President Trump should not make any more statements about Charlottesville and just get on with his economic agenda and tax reform. We need a powerful corporate tax rate cut, with some elimination of loopholes, to turbocharge our economy and help us crush the corrupt and evil democrat party in 2018 and 2020.
Yes, they’re very sensitive snowflakes in their well-paid jobs with full health care benefits, completely unaware of the damage the democrat party inflicted on the health insurance system, waging “social justice” warfare on Flyover Country. Poor, sensitive, pathetic baby journalists. If they weren’t so destructive to our country, they would be really comical.

The other night I inadvertently stopped on a PBS news station/report? I stood there looking and listening to the reporters and thought...Are we talking about the same events and happenings or am I having a psychotic break?
What I see being reported these days is so far beyond reality it is ____________(insert descriptive word), like living in the Twilight Zone of America!

The problem is not that Trump condemns ALL violence and hate. The problem is the media/left do not. It’s selective outrage.

President Trump told the truth. Many times, I’ve been called into the bad room and told by my boss that I “cant say that”... coworkers called me racist, all I did was tell the truth.
President Trump got North Korea to back down, potentially saving all our lives.
