I tend to agree. The MSM has failed at all other attempts to take down Trump and this is a final gasp I hope.
We need to frame it though as preserving the history of the DEMOCRAT party. They are trying to destroy the evidence of their own rotten history.
Sadly true, and it needs to be a mass uprising. Continued individual demonstrations will be demonized, crushed and used as further evidence for the need for more Stalinist repression and rewriting of history.

Just before that, they will want all public schools named Jefferson, Madison, and Washington renamed. I am sure the antifasti will push for a name change for Washington and Lee College (that started last year I believe).
We should also see the complete elimination of the Jefferson/Jackson fund raising dinners for the Rats as well.
Some state rat parties have already done so.
Take down the FDR Memorial.
I look at it as Democrats taking down statues of Democrats that were originally put up by Democrats.
But it's not really about statues. It's about bending the knee. The left lost an election so they're forcing this little measure of submission just because it makes them feel better.
It is also a distraction. The Russian collusion story is completely disintegrating. Yesterday, "Salon" followed "The Nation" at entertaining the thought that there was a leak, not a hack. Democrats need to open up a second front.
They "left/progressives/democrats/radicals/socials" think they got the moral superiority upper hand. I think because in a liberals mind racism is worse than violence and merits the use of violence or any other means to squash it. Most of the rest of us think that unnecessary violence is bad and to be avoided if possible.
These lefty walter mittys are now going nuts because they know lots of us aren't going along with fantasy anymore and one of them is president Donald Trump who seems to have freepish tendencies. That he is making a rational argument and then exposing the lefts on going efforts to sanitize American history and enact retroactive social justice against the now guilty parties of history.
Its shear insanity the deeper you go into the left. President Trump is bringing it to the surface for all to see - those who aren't insane will notice the lunatics its human nature.
