LaRouche is an old SDS Trotskyite who has reached the point where international socialists lose faith and morph into national socialists, that is, fascists. Of course, he was all gaga over Trump and endorsed him, so when the communists point out that there are fascists on Trump’s side, they are right, insofar as the LaRouche cult endorsed Trump. That doesn’t mean Trump approved of the endorsement, but if he did that’s where his troubles are coming from and why the level of hysteria against him is so over the top.
The LaRouche cult is closely affiliated with the KKK. They woo people by attaching themselves to highly respected people which gives them credibility, but they attach themselves without gaining permission. They have taken old fashioned namedropping and turned it into a high art.
That said, those same fascists were on Kerry’s side in 2004... and Obama’s after that. For some reason they dislike Hillary but that may be a false flag on their part. They are opportunists looking for a place to wedge themselves.

I disagree. I think Obama and the deep state used the “Russia” story to justify domestic surveillance of Trump (and anyone else they wanted). Hillary multi-purposed it to explain her humiliating defeat. The media further multi-purposed it to obstruct the Trump agenda.
The one explanation does not preclude the other.
Let us not forget another common liberal game, that of accusing your opponent of what you are doing. During the campaign, when many of us expressed concern about the fact that Hillary sold 1/5 of our uranium supply to Russia for tens of millions of dollars, Hillary started talking about Trump colluding with Russia--trying to make it look like Trump was doing something far worse than merely selling out our national security for a big payout.
The left has gotten a lot of mileage about the fake Russia collusion story. It is our task to keep pointing out that there never was evidence for that, and that the Democrats' real crimes and shady practices need to be investigated.
The mainstream media is diligently ignoring the Nation story but there’s no doubt it’s being paid attention to on the left and is registering hard. The Nation is one of the ideological left’s most trusted publications. It is a beloved, historical part of their movement and the fact that this was published there is very significant.
They know they have been selling crap and that if the truth comes out they will look like the fools they are so this is damage control.
