Just leave already. Can California be any more annoying or a drain on America?

California secession threads and the Libtard idiots who actually think it can/will happen is pure insanity. A second American Civil War is on the horizon if these malcontents wish to break from the Republic.

I would rather it split into two states. There are plenty of conservatuves left in CA. If we could just stop the leftist from leaving and infecting surrounding states! Termites!

The vote will be 57-0 to let them go

How does this work exactly? Will the nut jobs in the big cities, ie, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc., control the votes? What about those in Kalifornia who would like to rid themselves from the leftwingers on the coast and remain part of the United States. How could the cities exist without out of state water?

California must pay in full for all military bases and property belonging to the United States. They must also pay for relocation of all former US citizens who wish to resettle in the US. After doing that, they can go to hell.

There's more to it that that. What about all the U.S. veterans living in California? What about air traffic control. What about college conferences and sports leagues with members inside California?

We should offer Cali a payment plan to leave peacefully. They have to pay for the federal resources they acquired within 50 years' time. I'd encourage them to leave, frankly.

“If it wern’t for the good people of California that I know are there, I would say we would be better off if California left the USA.”

Don’t worry. Every Bolshevik Californian is moving to Colorado and Texas. They know how to protect themselves once their work is done.

When there was talk of Quebec leaving Canada, the federal government and its supporters put out so much talk about what Quebec would have to leave behind that the secession movement didn’t succeed. Federal Canada gave Quebec a lot of land that now has dams and hydroelectric power and Ottawa said it wanted all that back if Quebec went. If the secession movement heats up, apply that to California, starting with the water from Hoover dam, and secession won’t get very far.

I am for whatever they must pay to go away. That said, they must pay upfront for most of whatever they do.

Here is how I think this unfolds. California exits and creates a new nation with its own Constitution.

Then a revolution occurs and the State of Jefferson rejoins the union (and maybe a State of Mojave, too).

The more time that Dims waste on this dead end issue the better.

So, as I understand it, they illegally attempt to secede, and we get to walk in and legally shoot a few million gun hating and unarmed, treasonous Lefties, obliterate the democrat's party of unadmitted commies for the rest of the century, scare the poo out of the rest of the Western World, and chase out all the illegals, nationwide, as a bonus.

Then, there is all of the raping, looting and pillaging, since, as a civil war, there is no such thing as Rules of Engagement. Just a little perk.

OK, I'm missing the downside, here...

Libs, liquidate your assets and leave.
The real property and fixtures remain.

Love the 56 states ref. I say don’t let the door hit em where the good Lord split em.

They have nice weather. Need water from the 56. I say let them turn to dust. Turn the spigot off and cast them out.

Well unless you are capable of coming up with no energy input cost effective desalination. If you do the Saudis have a palace with your name on it and all the beer wine and women you would want. (They keep the sexy goats and camels)

california has more stare than SA We have a large mouton chain you may have heard of that has a snow pack. In Carlsbad we opened a deal plat a year ago and it provides 10% of the water for SD county. Just need 5-6 more and NorCal can take care of itself and send less to soCal.

Water is not the reason California should exit.
