The press is manipulative.....toward end of conference, a woman reporter asked President to clarify....’are you saying White Supremacists are treated unfairly?’ She knew darn well he didn’t say that but thought she could get him to ad lib and accidentally say something she could sensationalize. Media makes me sick!!
Take your nuance and shove it up your butt. We’ve had enough of namby-pamby surrender-monkey nonsense from the Republicans. The Left is out to destroy them and our nation in the process. President Trump is about the only man in Washington standing up to them and fighting for us. You are a disgrace.
These are men and women who have made the selfless and courageous decision to risk and at times give their lives to protect the rest of us on a daily basis.
It's difficult enough when we lose these brave Americans in battles overseas. It is horrifying that they should come under fire at an army base on American soil.

The city did not try and refuse permits for the Unite the Right Rally. They did try to move it from around the Lee statue to another site, claiming that there wasn't sufficient room. That was what the rally organizers took to court - assisted by the ACLU by the way. And the judge ruled that they could meet where originally planned.
As for the left's permits, the article clearly says that they had permits put didn't provide any details. On the other hand, other than location it didn't provide details on the Unite The Right rally permit either.
If indeed they did get a permit then the city has a lot of responsibility giving them that permit since they knew the size, and scope of this crowd. The permit could have easily have been given to them for the other side of town at a different time , or different day.
And Unite the Right could have marched miles away from the Lee statue, as the city wanted. But it kind of defeats the idea of demonstration and counter demonstration. If the city underestimated anything it was the overwhelming desire on both sides for a violent outcome. They certainly weren't responsible for that.
Agree! The media relishes in creating conflict between people. They care only about creating a sensational story, hoping to ‘scoop’ other reporters and gaining ratings. imho, patriotism is not a top priority for the American media.

After issuing permits for violent rightists? Neither side put on the permit that they planned to beat the crap out of the other side, though both sided showed up intending to do exactly that.
The President is exactly correct on this. Both sides deserve condemnation for the violence that occurred. Both came looking for trouble. Both got what they were looking for.
