Trump still stumping for Luther Strange. On Tuesday, the president tweeted:
"Big day in Alabama. Vote for Luther Strange, he will be great!"
It's the third time the president has spoken out in favor of Strange, who was appointed to the seat after Sen. Jeff Sessions was confirmed as U.S. Attorney General.
Voters will go to the polls today in the first step towards deciding Alabama's next U.S. Senator.

I’m beginning to think that Trump is his own worst enemy. Why would he prefer an acolyte of McConnell over a man who supports his agenda?

Some are predicting a low voter turnout for this primary. So which ever candidate has
the best organized get out the vote should come in first. Runoff bound most likely.
Trump is full of crap on this one.
That will be Strange, millions poured into his campaign by GOPe.

ALABAMA FREEPERS: VOTE FOR ROY MOORE. If Turtleman’s boy Luther Strange is elected to a full term he’ll PROMPTLY become a Flake (as is Arizona’s Senator Flake) supporting McConnell & the Deep State.
I’d love to see a Brooks-Moore runoff, with the winner helping the loser oust Dick Shelby.
I assume he’s trying to get his judges and other picks through. If I lived five miles west I would be happy to vote for Moore or Brooks.
And Judge Roy Moore will follow the US CONSTITUTION, and vote dumbocare down.
