(CNN)Texas A&M has canceled a white nationalist protest planned in September, citing safety concerns.

White nationalists, neo-Nazis and other extremist groups had planned to hold a "white lives matter" rally at Texas A&M on September 11. The school canceled the rally Monday evening "because of concerns about the safety of its students, faculty, staff, and the public." Richard Spencer, the white supremacist who helped found the so-called alt-right movement, was set to speak at the event, according to the Battalion, Texas A&M's student newspaper.

How about lefties protesting that conservative Jewish talk show host Dennis Prager will guest conduct Haydn at the LA Philharmonic this week? Eeeevil conservatives shouldn’t be allowed to conduct music?! Why are we allowed to walk the streets and breathe?

Apparently, the policy is that you must be sponsored by a student group.

He has not been invited.

Good. Such rallies have nothing to do with Trump's supporters. Any rally at which Richard Spencer speaks is illegitimate, in terms of bearing any connection to working class America and President Trump's expanding base.

Until Hillary mentioned it last year during the campaign, I had never even heard of the "alt-right", and yet I have been heavily immersed in libertarian and conservative engagement and discussions on the internet for the last 22+ years.

If the alt-right includes elements of neo-Nazism, White Supremacy, the KKK, or, yes, even "white nationalism", then I have no interest in being associated with it or adopting its label.

I'll stick with labels like "middle class", "conservative", "working class", "classical liberal", "Constitutionalist", "Patriot", "TEA party", "Republican", "Deplorable", and the like.

The bottom line is—try as they might—the impotent and repudiated Left will not succeed in smearing half of the American public with hateful labels or hateful groups, which truly represent the fringe, both in terms of numbers and ideology.

The Democrats and Media are having a field day with this incident. But they had a field day all during last year with their Trump-bashing. What did it get them? Bottled piss, that's what. And that's what it will continue to get them.

Realize and embrace the fact that the power of the Democrats and Media (but I repeat myself) has been broken. The Uniparty Swamp is being drained—slowly but surely—and We the People are making America great again—despite the best efforts of the naked and humiliated Enemy composed of Democrats, Globalists, GOPe, Soros, hillary, Obama, the Media, and the totalitarian Left...

They can’t “cancel” something unless it was scheduled to begin with.

So the media lied again - which isn’t surprising.

“What does that mean? “

It means that if Richard Spencer cannot find a student group at Texas A&M that will invite him to have a rally on campus, I bet some student group at Prairie View A&M would invite him to hold a white lives matter rally on campus.

The Tea party has been declared racist by AntiFa and SPLC.

so guess you have to stop using that term now.

But please, feel free to define yourself as a moderate where you feel safe.

So what if a group DOES invite Richard Spencer.

You know damn well A&M would still not allow it.

This group should be given no quarter. Not welcome anywhere.

“The new rules required outside groups or individuals to have sponsorship from a university-sanctioned group to reserve campus facilities.”

You don’t poke a hornets’ nest till you have a sufficiently large can of Raid handy. These problems didn’t arrive overnight. They will not vanish overnight. The appropriate warfare is asymmetric.

An historically black college? Do you possess an extra chromosome?

Agreed. I do not advocate what any of those groups do, but this is a huge blow to free speech in the nation. Now, you only have the freedom to say what protesters or the government WANTS you to say. It is plain and simple.

Note the keyword NEW rules - as in “anybody used to be able to reserve campus facilities”

Golly gee whillickers - wonder why they put the new rules in place?

Wonder what NEWER rules they’ll put in place once a campus club invites such blatant nazi scum...

“An historically black college? Do you possess an extra chromosome?”

Yes, and they do have student groups at Prairie View A&M and Prairie View A&M is not too far from Texas A&M.

If the white nationalist want to express their views, why not just ask a student group at Prairie View to invite them to hold a rally on their campus?

Make no mistake - the antifa argument - that conservative or right-wing speech CONSTITUTES violence, and therefore voids first amendment protection and constitutes a defense to assault and mayhem as “self-defense” is an argument without limit, and if you all allow it to work when the victims are too far right for your taste, it is an argument that will be knocking on YOUR front door before you know it.

A lack of power is going to hurt it one way or the other.

The power has to be reacquired FIRST and NOT by political means but by spiritual means. God is waiting to see if we will humble ourselves before Him and confess that yes, our politics failed. Then, what won’t fail, a release of the blessing spirit of God, will ensue.

When that is followed by a wink and nod, it vitiates itself.
